Does Stamina Rx Work?

Stamina Rx is a very popular fast acting male enhancement pill. It’s been sold as an impulse buy at checkout counters in gas stations and convenience stores for years. But it also has a checkered past. Not once, but twice, it was recalled by the FDA because they had “enhanced” the formula with the prescription drug in Viagra (Sildenafil). This is obviously against the law, but the makers of Stamina Rx did it twice.
I’ve got to admit, it takes balls to keep coming back expecting the market to trust you, but I think it’s probably because even though there turned out to be risks involved with taking it, it worked, so guys keep coming back.
At this point, it looks like Stamina Rx is using only legal ingredients, so we took a look hoping to figure out whether or not it works anymore and if it’s any safer than it used to be.
Stamina Rx Benefits
As a fast acting male enhancement, you take 1 or 2 Stamina Rx tablets about an hour before sexual activity to bring about:
- Increased libido.
- Better blood flow to the penis.
- Stronger, longer lasting erections.
- More intense orgasms.
Those are the expected promises, but what’s in the formula to help deliver on those promises?
Stamina Rx Ingredients
The Stamina Rx formula is a 550 mg proprietary blend containing:
- Epimedium Sagittatum which acts something like the PDE5 Inhibitors in Viagra. It supports blood flow to the penis and helps you sustain a hard erections.
- Yohimbe Bark Extract Standardized to 8 mg Yohimbine Alkaloids. (1) This is probably the key to the formula. Yohimbe is a stimulant that increases blood flow to the penis during arousal. It’s strong though. Some people don’t like the side effects. And for some, it can even be dangerous. But the stuff works.
- Cnidium Fruit Extract which acts as a libido enhancer as well as improving erections.
- Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa Extract
- GABA which uses brain chemistry to enhance your libido.
- L-Arginine (2) which is a precursor to nitric oxide which opens up the blood vessels, allowing increased blood to flow to the penis.
The formula puts most of its power into improving erections with blood flow enhancing ingredients, especially L-Argnine, Epimedium, and Yohimbe.
Stamina Rx Before and After Reviews
Reviews of Stamina Rx are very mixed. Guys either love it or hate it. In a nutshell, the ones that love it say it works and they get fantastic erections that explode into intense orgasms, while the ones that hate it say it made them feel sick.
Here’s an example of the good:
“I tried it and found it to be very effective for me. Although it didn’t help in the prolonging of ejaculation time, it certainly did help in size and strength. I have continued using the product with consistent results.”
Here are a couple of the bad:
“It made my husband very sick, with nausea headaches dizzy spells. He lost two days of work because of trying this.”
and
“I have only taken once so far! but I got really nausiated, and it upset my stomach! the jury is still out, I have to try it again to make sure it was the product, and not something I ate!”
And here’s one that’s basically half and half, summing up all the commonly held opinions:
“This stuff really works! I have been a fan of Stamina Rx for several years and I know they changed the formula to comply with FDA guidelines. This stuff used to work 100% before they changed it, with no nausea or headache. Now there are some of those symptoms that you have to deal with especially if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Now everybody is different so just know that. If you can deal with possible headache and light nausea that doesn’t last long you should get the result that you are looking for. “
Where to buy Stamina Rx
You used to be able to pick Stamina Rx up at GNC and convenience stores/gas stations. I don’t know about the latter, but it looks like GNC doesn’t carry it anymore. You can still order it online though, from a few different online retailers. A 30-count bottle costs about $30. I have not seen it for sale on Amazon.com.
Stamina Rx Pros
- You only take it when you need it, not every day.
- It works quickly.
- Customers who use it say it works – giving them bigger harder erections.
- They seem to have worked out their legal issues with their formula and the FDA.
Stamina Rx Cons
- The side effects can be pretty bad – nausea, headache, jitters, racing heart.
Our Stamina Rx Conclusion
As far as fast acting male enhancement supplements go, Stamina Rx works. But is it worth the cost in side effects? Some guys don’t react badly to yohimbe. For them, Stamina Rx could be a great fit. Just start with 1 pill and be prepared to handle any potentially bad reaction. You’ll find out soon enough if Stamina Rx is for you.
