Does Muscle XTX Work?

Note: This is a review. Click here to visit the Muscle XTX website.

If you’ve started looking online for workout supplements, you have probably noticed lots of similar products popping up on your social media feeds. If you’re feeds are anything like mine, several of these products are offered on a what appears to be a free trial basis. If you haven’t read the real story about these free trial products, let’s just say it’s a good thing you’re here because we’re about to fill you in on how these “free trial’s” are really nothing but scams. And we’ll use the example of Muscle XTX.

What is Muscle XTX?

Not too long ago, a reader at our website asked us to review a testosterone boosting supplement called Muscle XTX. As soon as I told him I’d be happy to oblige, I did a quick Google search for the product. I’ve seen so many of these scams in the past that it took me all of about 15 seconds before I was reasonably sure Muscle XTX was also a scam. Another couple of minutes and my suspicions were confirmed.

The official Muscle XTX website calls the product a natural testosterone booster with all the numerous body positive benefits that that designation indicates. When you start taking Muscle XTX, you’ll begin to see:

  • Better workouts with more endurance.
  • Improved muscle building results from your workouts.
  • Retention and gain of lean muscle mass.

Something to quickly note here – most testosterone boosting supplements also refer in their marketing to the fact that boosting testosterone can also lead to better sex drive and performance. While this may indeed be the case with Muscle XTX, it is not mentioned at all on the website.

Muscle XTX Ingredients

We’ll get to the whole free trial scam business in just a moment, but before that, let’s talk about the formula. Despite the fact that Muscle XTX calls itself a “testosterone booster,” the ingredient profile provided does not support this assertion.

The website refers to 3 primary active ingredients, all of which place a primary focus on improving blood flow. This is how pre workout supplements work, not testosterone boosters. The listed ingredients are 3 amino acids:

  • L-Arginine (1) which is a precursor to nitric oxide. NO is a vasodilator. When you increase NO in your bloodstream, your blood vessels open up and allow for better blood flow to your muscles during workout and recovery. During workouts, the benefits of this increased blood flow are more oxygen for better energy and more blood producing better pumps. After workouts, the increased blood flow helps deliver the nutrients needed for muscle recovery. L-Aginine converts in the body into Nitric Oxide.
  • L-Citrulline (2) which is a precursor to L-Arginine. Effectively what this does is act like a time release source of increased Nitric Oxide. Since it has to convert to L-Arginine before converting to NO, you will be experiencing the NO increase for a longer period of time after taking Muscle XTX.
  • L-Norvaline helps increase NO in the body by preventing the breakdown of excess L-Arginine. By maintaining healthy l-arginine levels, your nitric oxide levels will remain high.

The Free Trial Scam – What Gives?

muscle-xtx-review-3You may be wondering why we’re being so hard on this free trial concept. What could be wrong with getting to try something for free? Well, the fact is, you’re not really getting anything for free at all. The most you’re getting is a delayed payment, unless you take action before the end of a very short period of time.

Here’s how it works. You sign up for the Muscle XTX free trial offer and pay $4.95 in shipping charges. They send you a full one month supply bottle, and this is where most people think it ends. But it doesn’t. Written in the very fine print, which is also written in a light gray font on a white background, making it difficult to even see, you’ll find the following terms:

So basically, by signing up for the free trial, you are unknowingly signing up for monthly shipments of a $90 supplement. If you don’t want this subscription, you have to cancel it, but lots of customers, maybe most, miss it. And even if they do glance at it, there’s no price listed, so they may think they’re safe. But they’re not. If you dig deeper into the longer form Terms document that you have to click an entirely separate link for, then scroll down to the bottom, you’ll see that the price for the bottle you thought was free and each bottle they send you after that is $89.99. That is definitely not “free!”

Muscle XTX Positives

  • I can’t see any.

Muscle XTX Negatives

  • It’s called a Testosterone Booster, but the ingredients and listed benefits don’t support that classification at all.
  • It’s only available with a free trial scam designed to separate you from $90 a month.

Our Recommendation

The free trial scam is bad enough, but a few other points make Muscle XTX even worse. The company selling and promoting this stuff doesn’t even take the time to create a marketing website that makes sense. It’s a testosterone booster, but doesn’t contain testosterone boosting ingredients. The laziness and utter lack of respect for the customer is clear. There’s no reason I can see that anyone should sign up for the Muscle XTX free trial scam.
