Does Pre JYM Work?

Pre Jym Review 1

Before we dive in to the nuts and bolts of the product, well try to straighten out any confusion over which Pre JYM we’re talking about. In a nutshell, Jym products were originally made by Dr. Jim Stoppani in conjunction or with some level of exclusivity with Bodybuilding.com. After some patents, trademarks, and/or exclusivity agreements expired, apparently all hell broke loose. There are lawsuits and counter-suits back and forth between the two companies, and now GNC has joined the party as well. How it will all play out remains to be seen, but for now, Bodybuilding.com is selling the original product, while Jim Stoppani is selling a new product through GNC under the name of JYM Supplement Science.

For the purposes of today’s review, we’re looking at the original Pre JYM, the one sold exclusively through Bodybuilding.com.

Pre JYM Benefits

Pre workout supplements can provide several different benefits, and because of that, customers get to choose products that provide exactly the ones they’re looking for. Some pre workouts specialize in particular benefits. Others have it all. In the case of Pre JYM, you’ll get:

  • Great pump.
  • Increased muscle power.
  • Post workout recovery assistance.
  • Muscle endurance
  • Elevated mood and focus.
  • Extensive stamina.

All these taken together put Pre JYM in the “have it all” category.

Pre JYM Ingredients

Pre JYM prides itself on using proper doses and being upfront about it. That said, the formula contains:

  • BCAAs (6 grams) (1) at the optimal ratio to promote fast and complete post workout recovery.
  • Citrulline Malate (6 grams) which increases Nitric Oxide perhaps even more effectively and more efficiently than L-Arginine. It also lasts longer.
  • Creatine HCL (2 grams) for increasing muscle energy for more powerful lifts and greater muscle growth.
  • Beta Alanine (2 grams) (2) for increased stamina through reduced muscle fatigue. It delays the buildup of lactic acid that causes muscles to quit.
  • Beet Extract (500 mg) for endurance and minimized fatigue.
  • Betaine (1.5 grams) which increases nitric oxide and protein synthesis.
  • Alpha-GPC (300 mg) to support mood and focus.
  • N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (600 mg) (3) which fights muscle fatigue.
  • Huperzine A (50 mcg) to add mood and focus support.
  • Caffeine (300 mg) which provide energy and well as supporting the other brain and mood boosting ingredients in the formula.
  • L-Tysosine (1.5 g) which also works toward increasing focus and improving mood.
  • Taurine ( 1 gram) which provides endurance and strength while increasing the body’s production of nitric oxide.

Clearly, the dosing in Pre JYM is leaps and bounds above what we see in so many other products.

How to Use Pre JYM

Mix a single scoop of Pre JYM with 14 ounces of water and drink it about half an hour to forty-five minutes before working out.

Pre JYM Before and After Reviews

Pre JYM is a very well-liked pre workout supplement, as is made clear by the many positive reviews posted to bodybuilding.com.

Johnny says: “Have used this for about a year now, and I don’t use anything else for my workouts. If you really want a pump and intense focus, then this ish the product to use. Orange Mango is the best flavor and doesn’t even taste like a pre workout powder.”

Rod says: “I am not a huge fan of pre workout formulas as they tend to make me jittery because of all the caffeine. This stuff is great. It gives me just enough “get up and go” than I am able to give it my all through my entire routine. I used to use NO2 Black to get that good pump during my lifting, but this seems to do the job better and has enough of the “go juice” to rep out “just 1 more.”

There are a few negative reviews as well from people who just didn’t get the boost they were looking for, but feedback is primarily positive.

Where to Buy Pre JYM

You can only get this version of Pre JYM at Bodybuilding.com. The 20 serving tub costs about $35, and should last a month if you only use it on lifting days.

Pre JYM Pros

  • The formula is well-formulated and well-dosed.
  • There are lots of happy customers leaving positive reviews.

Pre JYM Cons

  • There’s a lot of drama right now about the future of this supplement, so the future is uncertain. I’m sure it will be around in some form, just not sure where it will be available and who will make it.

Our Pre JYM Recommendation

Pre JYM has a solid formula and lots of happy customers. With both of those going for it, you might think it’s expensive, but the price is actually pretty reasonable. With all that going for it, I have no problem recommending you use Pre JYM.
