AlphaMax XT is a natural testosterone boosting supplement made by Performax Labs. The XT version is upgraded from the original AlphaMax, and it’s only available online. We took a look at the promises, the formula, and the customer feedback, and put together this review to help you decide if AlphaMax XT is the one for you.
What is AlphaMax XT?
AlphaMax XT claims it will be “your next favorite testosterone booster,” which is actually a nod to the fact that there are dozens, even hundreds, to choose from. The idea being that there are so many, you’ll surely go through several in your journey toward being the best you you can be. But this is one you’ll consider to be among the top.
By taking AlphaMax XT, it’s expected that you’ll increase not only total testosterone, but the all important free testosterone, so you’ll see gains in lean muscle mass, loss in fat, better muscle recovery, and a boosted libido.
AlphaMax XT Ingredients
The AlphaMax XT formula is not all that different from the original, but a few things have changed. Here are the highlights of the updated formula:
It starts with ZMA which is known to support natural testosterone production. It’s a combination of Zinc, Magnesium, and Vitamin B6. They’ve also added Vitamin D3 to the mix as well. Working out depletes mineral levels. ZMA builds them back up while Vitamin D3 levels have been shown to correlate with free testosterone levels.
From there, it splits up into 4 complexes:
The Free and Total Testosterone – Growth Hormone Complex which includes
- Urtica Dioica Extract (1) which inhibits Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) so more of your testosterone remains free for use.
- Mucuna Pruriens which increases Luteinizing Hormone, which in turn signals the testes to produce and release more testosterone.
- Eurycoma Longifolia which has also been shown to inhibit the actions of SHBG.
The Estrogen and Cortisol Control Complex which includes:
- Withania Somnifera (2) which can inhibit estrogen receptors, effectively regulating estrogen.
- Abieta-8,11,13-tren-18-oic acid (DHAA) which blocks the conversion of excess testosterone to estrogen. It also supports fat loss by boosting production of adiponectin, a hormone that correlates inversely with obesity.
The Lean Mass Activator-95 Complex which includes:
- Coleus Forskohlii which increases lean mass and decreases body fat, probably through the mechanism of improved thyroid function.
The Testosterone Support Complex which includes:
- Vitamin D3 which has been shown to, like Zinc, have a correlation with testosterone.
- Boron Citrate which is believed to increase free testosterone by decreasing SHBG.
How To Use AlphaMax XT
Instructions are to take 2 capsules with 8oz. cold water 20 minutes before breakfast, and 2 more capsules with 8oz. cold water 20 minutes before dinner. It’s recommended that you use AlphaMax XT during Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) to help restart and maintain your natural testosterone producing processes
