Bio Muscle XR Review 1It’s always tempting to believe that we can get that big, ripped body we want without working our ass off, but deep down we know we really can’t. Even so, it’s amazing how easy it is to fall back into that mindset when we come across a supplement that promises to practically do it all for us. Take Bio Muscle XR for instance.

If you look at your Instagram Feed, you know the stories of “losing 24 lbs” or before and after of actors using BioMuscle XR are bullshit.  To look at the website, you’d think this stuff will wake you up in the morning and drag your ass to the gym and give you the best workout of your life. But that’s marketing for you. It’s our job to look past the hype and find out what Bio Muscle XR can really do.

Benefits of Bio Muscle XR

Bio Muscle XR promises a few very simple, but key features. Some claims are:

  • It’s going to get you ripped super quick. It’s going to reduce your body fat.
  • It’s going to provide crazy muscle growth.
  • It’s going to amplify your strength and raw power.
  • BioMuscle XR is a free trial (but its not!)

They claim to have researched this formula for years, and at last they came up with the perfect combination of ingredients to support your efforts pre, intra, and post workout to the point where you’ll see results you never dreamed possible. But once you look at the BioMuscle XR ingredients, you will not be too impressed.

What We Hate About Bio Muscle XR

  • The ingredients are not so “secret”, just the amount in their formula
  • Another “Free Trial” scam
  • Tons of bogus BioMuscle XR advertorials and fake before and after pictures

Bio Muscle XR Ingredients

The bulk of the Bio Muscle XR formula is made up of three kinds of L-Arginine (1)

  • L-Arginine
  • L-Arginine Alpha Keotglutarate
  • and L-Arginine Monohydrochloride)

This amino acid is a precursor to nitric oxide. That means it’s capable of BioMuscle XR ingredients
increasing NO levels in your blood. This is a great thing for working out. It’s a vasodilator, which means it widens your blood vessels for increased blood flow. That means more blood makes it to your muscles during your workouts, delivering not only oxygen and nutrients, but massive pumps as well. There’s nothing earth-shattering about L-Arginine. In fact, it’s in the vast majority of pre workout supplements with a focus on nitric oxide and pumps.

To round out the formula, there’s:

  • L-Citrulline (2) which can also increase nitric oxide, and also may decrease the build up of lactic acid. That means you can work out harder and longer without experiencing muscle fatigue. The trouble is, the recommended daily dose of L-Citrulline for bodybuilding benefits is 2-6 grams per day. A serving of Bio Muscle XR contains 5 mgs.

  • Dipotassium Phosphate which increases oxygen uptake in the blood. It’s used in elecrolyte blends to keep the body properly hydrated.

The problem we have with BioMuscle XR is that there is 800 mg of a “proprietary” blend so who knows how much each ingredient you are getting? Further more, can you be guaranteed the same potency in each bottle?

So what is the recommended dose of Bio Muscle XR?  The recommended dose is 2 pills taken once per day, presumably about half an hour before your workout.

The Bio Muscle XR Free Trial Scam

Though you can get to it through a bunch of different links, the only place to purchase Bio Muscle XR is their official website, where they promote their “free trial offer.” You may have seen these kinds of offers before. They’re all over the internet. But if you haven’t, allow me to explain. They draw you in with an offer of a FREE 14-day trial. All you need to do is pay shipping and handling, and they’ll send you a bottle. If you don’t read the fine print, you think you’ll be getting a 14 day supply and that’ll be the end of it. But that’s not the case. What actually happens is they send you a full month’s supply, and if you don’t call and cancel within the first 14 days after you place your order, you’ll be charged the full price for the “free” bottle, AND you’ll be signed up to automatically purchase a new bottle every month. And these bottles aren’t cheap. The cost for that “free” bottle is now $89.73.

Can You Buy BioMuscle XR in Stores?

GNC, Walmart, Vitamin shop and bodybuilding.com do not cary BioMuscle XR.  You can only buy BioMuslce XR through their website.  There are tons of BioMuscle XR scam sites that basically point you to their website.

Does Bio Muscle XR Work?

Well that’s the 20 million dollar question, isn’t it? My answer would have to be a definite “eh”. I’m sure you’d get some small benefit from taking it, but I can almost guarantee it won’t be worth 90 bucks a month. L-Arginine and a teeny tiny dose of L-Citrulline? Really? These kinds of bodybuilding supplements are a dime a dozen. They come out with this slick web page filled with images of guys with bulging muscles, and they talk about how this is finally the secret to explosive muscle growth revealed. They say it’s the most sought after supplement by celebrities. They say scientists have been working on the formula for decades.

Does BioMuscle XR have any side effects?

Basically a lighter wallet might be the most severe side effect of BioMuscle XR.  Other side effects include a bruised ego, higher blood pressure from your first credit card bill.  In all seriousness, aside from the usual blood pressure related warning, this is not potent enough to cause any side effects.  And forget about failing a drug test too.

They say Bio Muscle XR has been featured on various news outlets like CBS News, MSNBC, CNN, and Men’s Health. None of this is true. I wish I could tell you how they get away with saying this stuff, but I honestly don’t know. My guess is they walk a very fine line between actually making claims and almost making them. And don’t get me started on the before and after images on the website. Can you say Photoshop?!

Our Bio Muscle XR Conclusion

We’re all part of the fitness and workout community, trying to help each other out. You may not agree with every recommendation I make, but if you listen to me about one thing, make it this. Stay away from Bio Muscle XR and all the free trial scams like it.

A: You would take them before the workout.  However I would check out TestRx or something else instead because BioMuscle XR sucks.

  • Well I feel pretty stupid, took the whole free trial bottles hook, line and sinker.now they hit my debit card for $135.00 and my doc said I can’t even take the shit because of the cancer pills they got me on!! Can I interest anyone in some expensive bogus pills?buyer be fkn aware. Charles,Fairbanks alasksa.

    • OMG Charles I am so sorry to hear that. We hope you check us BEFORE you buy your next supplements. We do the best to give the most honest supplement reviews.

  • Yeah, I got scammed. You know why? NASCAR. That’s right. Jeff Gordon accused Dale Earnhardt Jr. and other drivers of gaining extra muscle, strength, and endurance using a prohibited supplement. Earnhardt gladly defended himself, showing this bogus product in his defense; noting anyone could legally buy it. Curiosity killed this cat. Maybe Gordon and Earnhardt should be investigated. They certainly seem to have a vested interest in the stuff!

    • Wow Beau,
I am certainly going to look into this Jeff Gordon and Dale Eanrhardt Jr using muscle building supplements like BioMuscle XR. So far I have not really found anything, but if so, I would say that not cool. In their defense, scam supplements companies claim celebrities are using a product and they have not. So the jury is out on this one. When it comes to Bio Muslcle XR… stay away.

  • The whole thing is a scam don’t buy it

    • Eugene,
I totally agree. We get so many emails about Bio Muscle XR being a scam. There are so many better alternatives.

  • Since reviewing this product, what item out there is similar to it that can be bought in stores?

    • I am sure every store has preworkouts better than BioMuscle XR, some worse than others…. but I really liked NitroCut. Its available in some stores, but mostly online. NitroCut has a generous guarantee. C4 is available in most stores but its not that good anymore. Most products available in chain stores are very weak and overpriced.

  • What can a person do–after you have been screwed by these con artist? I just got my two bottles for $190+ I called and got some of-shore ass–they gave me 50% and cancelled by bogus contract–I want to jump all over them–any ideas?

I actually was ordering infiniteNo2 to go along witj shred test3.0 but received the incorrect order. Can I send it back for the InfiniteNo2

    • Sounds like you were hucklebucked. When I searched shred test 3.0, it took me to a review that sent me to a site to order bio muscle XR. Those types of bait and switch reviews are usually BS reviews. check the site to see if you can return it it. but they are usually shady companies so buyer beware. the two i suggested are more reputable and you actually get what you order. Bio muscle XR is full of complaints and they have been crushing feeds all over social media.

Is supplement for pre or post workout

    • Hi Kev,
Bio muscle XR is a preworkout, but it sucks so bad and is way overpriced, I do not know why anyone would buy it.If you want a great preworkout, look at Nitrocut or Crazymass NO2 force or Xtreme NO
