BlackCore Edge supplements exploded on to the online scene not too long ago, and have been gaining huge amounts of popularity ever since. They have a few different offerings available, but today we’re looking at BlackCore Edge Pre Workout. We’ll drill down to find out who it’s designed to help, what’s in it, what you can expect it to do, and whether or not it’s a good value. Read on for answers to all those questions and more.

BlackCore Edge Pre Workout Benefits

According to the BlackCore Edge Pre Workout webpage, you’ll get results you never thought possible, and the biggest benefit overall will be the boost in confidence you’ll feel when you find yourself with:

  • Greater metabolic efficiency.
  • Faster post workout recovery times.
  • Markedly increased lean muscle mass.

These sound like typical pre workout benefits, so we’re off to a good start. Now we’ll look at the formula and discover whether or not it can lead to these benefits.

BlackCore Edge Pre Workout Ingredients

blackcore-edge-pre-workout-ingredientsWe had a hard time nailing down the correct ingredients because everywhere we looked offered a different list. In the end, we’re still not sure we have the right one, but this is the list most of the evidence points to. It includes:

  • Vitamin C which works as an antioxidant and detoxifier while it can also increase energy.
  • Riboflavin which helps turn carbohydrates into energy.
  • Niacin which is a vasodilator for increased pumps and better blood flow throughout your workout.
  • Beetroot and Red Beet Juice Extracts (1) which provide nitrates. Nitrates can have a positive effect on exercise performance by allowing you to experience less fatigue.
  • Niacinamide (2) which is important for cellular health of muscle tissue.
  • Melon Juice Concentrate which may have an anti inflammatory effect.
  • L-Arginine which is a pre cursor to nitric oxide, a vasodilator to allow greater blood flow and better oxygen and nutrient delivery to your muscles during workouts.

What we notice most about this list is that it’s filled with a good supporting cast of ingredients, but with no star. L-Arginine is very popular in pre workout supplements, but it you would need it to be in greater concentration that is the case here where it’s buried last on the list of the 800mg proprietary blend. That brings up another important point. All these ingredients total only 800mg of strength, not leaving much room for any particular one to be effective.

BlackCore Edge Pre Workout Free Trial

So the ingredient list is pretty mediocre, not giving us a whole lot of confidence in BlackCore Edge Pre Workout. But if it’s cheap enough, maybe it’s worth trying. At first glance, you might think it’s actually free to try. After all, they advertise a “free trial,” so that’s a reasonable assumption. But BlackCore Edge Pre Workout is not free!

Here’s how the free trial works. You pay a small shipping fee and they send you a one-month supply. After 10 days (most give you 14 days, but these guys only give you 10), they will charge you the full price of $85.95, and not only that, but they’ll sign you up to receive a new bottle at that same price every month from now on. If you want to prevent this, call their number (1-877-516-7511) before your 10 day trial is up. If you’ve missed that window, expect to be charged for what you’ve received, but you need to call anyway to cancel any future charges.

BlackCore Edge Pre Workout Before and After Reviews

Customer reviews of BlackCore Edge Pre Workout have more to do with the scammy free trial and customer service issues than with how it actually works. We checked in with the Better Business Bureau, and these guys have an F rating. Here’s a bit of what one very unhappy customer had to say:

“This advertising was found on a social media site where it allegedly assist with muscle tone, energy, increased testosterone levels. Upone receipt of the trial product and paying shipping. The advertisement does not speak of response time in bold letters you will be charged an additional $89.99. Upon calling Customer Service, the representative stated it plainly stated the conditions and only offered a 30% refund. After stating that I plan to report the company to the BBB and post finding on Social Media, she then offered 60%. “

This is pretty typical for products like BlackCore Edge Pre Workout. It happens all the time. People are unaware of the trial terms because they are laid out only in the fine print, which is also in a very light color font. But because they do technically show the terms, they say you agreed to it in the ordering process and then act like they’re doing you a favor by giving you a partial refund. The above customer was able to receive a full refund in the end because he did file a BBB complaint. But clearly you shouldn’t have to go to such great lengths to be treated fairly.

BlackCore Edge Pre Workout Pros

  • None.

BlackCore Edge Pre Workout Cons

  • The ingredient list is not readily shared, so we’re not positive we even know what’s in it.
  • The free trial is just a scam, and BlackCore Edge makes it very difficult to stop charges and get a refund.
  • I haven’t seen one positive review about the effectiveness of the product.

Our BlackCore Edge Pre Workout Conslusion

The only thing that stands out about BlackCore Edge Pre Workout is that it’s one of the worst offenders in the free trial scam racket. Customers think they’re getting a great deal, then 2 weeks (or sometimes 2 months) later, they realized they’ve been taken in for several hundred dollars. This is no way to retain customers, and truthfully that’s not really the purpose of BlackCore Edge Pre Workout. Their goal is to churn through customers, getting a few hundred dollars from each before they realize the scam and move on. Hopefully, you found this review before placing your order, so you can avoid the headache.
