I purchased Cellucor P6 Extreme manufactured by Cellucor at the suggestion of my friend I work with at the Police Department. Cops do various workouts. Crossfit and and High Intensity Interval Workouts are popular, healthy, and work. I took the Cellucor P6 Extreme after a lull of working out and wanted to test it to see what results I would get. Cellucor P6 is an Anabolic stimulant and has recently been revamped into their fourth generation of products, or G4 as Cellucor labels it. Their is also a Cellucor P6 black, which many stack, but we will get into that later. I don’t know how to explain it, but Cellucor was cutting edge beck then, but they seemed to have sold out. They are not as cutting edge as they use to be. Read more to see for yourself.
What does Cellucor P6 do?
Cellucor P6 extreme promises to increase:
- Strength
- Lean Muscle
- Libido
- Stamina
What is Cellucor P6 Extreme?
Cellucor claims the P6 Extreme’s muscle growth formula is a testosterone boosting and hypertrophic agent. It also claims to 
elevate free testosterone, block estrogen, increase strength an lean mass, stimulate healthy libido, and enhance athletic performance. If this formula works, they have the right idea to increase testosterone while blocking estrogen, which is the downside of all types of testosterone increasing supplements. And if it increases libido, that would be a side effect of the elevated testosterone. Black Cohosh seems to be the active ingredient that increases testosterone and can be found in other supplements.
CELLUCOR P6 RED INGREDIENTS:
Adaptest™ Ashwagandha (Withania Sommifera) has been shown, in a clinical setting, to improve muscle size and strength, and natural testosterone levels in healthy adult men according to cellucor.
Ovine Placenta Powder- Ovine Placenta Powder is a natural HCG agonist which releases luteinizing hormones from the pituitary gland and tells the body to begin steroid synthesis (testosterone production), which increases testosterone levels. (1)
Tribulus Alatus Extract- Tribulus Alatus Extract is a potent herb used to naturally supplement testosterone production. Tribulus Alatus is contains six unique steroidal saponins that increase testosterone levels.
Myruca Rubra Bark Extract (Myracetin)- inhibits 5-alpha reductase is an enzyme that blocks DHT conversion, minimizing male pattern baldness. B-sitosterol decreases LDL cholesterol levels by inhibiting absorption in the intestines.
Stinging Nettle Root extract- Stinging nettle root promotes growth and increasing levels of free testosterone in the body.
Diosgenin- Diosgenin is naturally derived from wild yam roots and decreases levels of LDL and serum total cholesterol.
Sclareolide- Sclareolide is a natural extract of the clary sage plant that enhances androgen (testosterone) production, increases energy and helps maintain lean muscle mass during weight loss.
Cellucor P6 Red Ergogenic Testosterone Booster Testimonials
The biggest complaint we found about Cellucor P6 Red is that it contains magnesium sterate. While they were not Before and After Results for Cellucor P6, testimonials complained that magnesium stearic acid can actually supress T-cells. Other than that, most reviews of Cellucor P6 Red were favorable.
One testimonial I found for the new G4 formula said he took Cellucor P6 Ergogenic Test booster “Primarily to help with my workouts. And indeed it has allowed me to pull and push more weight.”
Does Cellucor P6 Work?
My honest opinion… I have taken Cellucor P6 on three separate occasions. The first time, I felt the effects within a few days and they were very pronounced. But that was the OLD Cellucor P6 and there were not as many options as there are now. Cellucor P6 did not make me feel jittery or caffeinated. I did feel more awake and enthusiastic about my Crossfit workout and really felt better my Shoulder and Arms workout and Chest and Back workout. I easily was curling 10, 15, and 20 lbs more withing two weeks. On the second occasion I feel like the benefits of the Cellucor P6 Extreme were somewhat diminished when I did my Crossfit and P90x workouts. I am not saying it did not work, I am just saying the gains did not feel as pronounced. Umm, as for the libido, I can not say I felt a difference. There are other products more suited for that. The newest version, the G4 versions of Cellucor P6 Ergogenic Testosterone Booster Review worked pretty well for me and I saw noticeable gains.
Is Cellucor P6 allowed in the military? You can check, but there is nothing in Cellucor P6 Extreme that should make you piss hot on a drug test because every ingredient is legal.
Can you take Cellucor P6 with other products?
I strongly believe in not making “supplement salads”, meaning if you use Cellucor P6, stack it with another Cellucor product like Cellucor M5, Cellucor Super HD, Cellucor NO3 Chrome, Cellucor NO3 Extreme, Cellucor C4 and Cellucor CLK. We think the G4 version of Cellucor P6 Ergogenic Testosterone Booster Review is a better version of the old. Why did they change it? Every few years Cellucor revamps formulas and packaging. The prohormone ban of 2014 may have also influenced some changes. While it may not be the best product we have tried, its not the worst one. There are better products out there though.

You need to take the recommended dose of Cellucor P6 to see the results. Its ok to start with 2 to see how your body reacts, but work your way to 3 and then 4 pills.
