Still With DMAA

00000

Note: This is a review. DMAA has been banned, so if you would like to order HydroxyElite, you will have to locate a website still offering it.

HydroxyElite Review 1

I’m sure you’ve heard it before. Every time there’s a supplement ingredient that actually works, the FDA goes and bans it. And depending on who you talk to, it may be a good thing or a bad thing. To some, it’s all a conspiracy to help the pharmaceutical companies that grease the government wheels. To others, it’s a government regulatory agency looking out for the people and trying to keep them safe. As with most things, my guess is the answer probably lies somewhere in the middle. But for all you rebels out there who want to throw caution to the wind, HydroxyElite is there to help.

OxyELITE Pro was a hugely successful diet pill until its main ingredient DMAA got banned by the FDA. Sure there were side effects, but this stuff really worked and people loved it. It was the next big thing since Ephedra was banned. But when several cases of liver damage and one death were attributed to the stuff, the FDA stepped in and banned it. Most companies took it off the shelves and out of their supplements.

HydroxyElite Review 3

Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals continues to use it in their HydroxyElite product, citing their claim that the FDA didn’t actually ban DMAA. They just warned companies not to use it. According to Hi-Tech, that warning doesn’t carry the force of law, and they’re going to continue making and selling it until they are made to stop.  It seems like Hi-Tech Pharmceuticals found itself in the spotlight fighing the FDA.  Nevertheless, the GNC and Commissary stores on military installations have pulled Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals products, according to Military Times.

How HydroxyElite Works

HydroxyElite uses the powerful fat burning combination of DMAA and caffeine to come as close to the ECA stacks that were so popular in the 1990s before they got banned. The stack works to increase energy so you’re pumped and ready to go for your workouts and all day long, and it turns up the heat on your metabolism so you’re burning more fat. According to a lot of the customer feedback, it sends your stamina through the roof as well.

HydroxyElite Ingredients

HydroxyElite proudly proclaims that it still contains DMAA as its primary ingredient in focus. DMAA comes from geranium plant and is a powerful central nervous system stimulant. It’s very similar in chemical structure to amphetamine. The supporting formula includes:

  • HydroxyElite Review 2Garcinia Cambogia(1) which can help block the storage of new fat in fat cells and suppress your appetite. It’s becoming a very popular weight loss ingredient on its own as well as in stacked formulas.
  • Bauhinia Purpurea(2) which may increase metabolism using the pathway of the thyroid.
  • Bacopa Monniere which main boost memory and certain brain activity.
  • Cirsium Oligophyllum which may help reduce subcutaneous fat, especially when combined with caffeine.
  • Rauwolscine(3) which is also known as Yohimbe. It’s an aphrodisiac and stimulant that the FDA has also warned against because of its potential for dangerous side effects, including a racing heart and a severe drop in blood pressure.
  • Caffeine which is a stimulant on its own and also increases the benefits of DMAA and Cirsium Oligophyllum.

Instructions are to take HydroxyElite 1-2 capsules in the morning and 1 after lunch.

HydroxyElite Side Effects

The fact that HydroxyElite is almost an exact replica of OxyELITE Pro which was banned and blamed for liver damage and at least one death should tell you something. Whether or not you believe the FDA, you should absolutely understand that taking HydroxyElite may indeed come with risks. DMAA is very similar in structure to amphetamine, and Yohimbe can be very dangerous as well. Some of the side effects we’ve seen mentioned include:

  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Short term memory loss
  • Liver pain
  • Excessive salivation
  • Racing heartbeat

HydroxyElite Review 4HydroxyElite Pros

  • There are lots of HydroxyElite reviews stating that this stuff works, and is what they’ve been looking for since OxyELITE Pro is no longer available.
  • It’s pretty inexpensive.

HydroxyElite Cons

  • It’s potentially dangerous.
  • It probably won’t be available for very long.

Where to Buy HydroxyElite

At this point, HydroxyElite is listed on the Hi-Tech website, but when you click through to buy it, the order page is not there. It is still available though through some third party online supplement retailers. A 90 count bottle which is basically a 30 day supply costs about $36 give or take a few dollars here or there. We found no indication that your purchase would be covered by a money back guarantee.

Our HydroxyElite Conclusion

There are reports that HydroxyElite works to help you lose weight. But the real question is whether or not that weight loss is worth the potential dangers and side effects. This stuff contains not one but two iffy substances (DMAA and Yohimbe). And the DMAA is likely to get it taken off the shelves completely at some point. Losing weight is hard, and for some, HydroxyElite helps. But in the end, it’s just not worth the risk.
