lipocide review 1

The best fat burning supplements combine all the right functions ins just the right balance to help turn your body into a fat burning, muscle preserving machine. The goal is to help you take in less fuel, but keep the fires burning, and make sure they’re burning fat, not muscle. That’s a pretty intricate balancing act, and it’s one that Lipocide claims to do very very well.

What is Lipocide?

Lipocide is a fat burner formulated by expert trainer Hany Rambod for Evogen. His formula promises to combine fat metabolism with energy and focus as well as appetite control so you can reach your shredding goals. Hany Rambod trains some of the best bodies competing in the world today, and they can’t afford to lose muscle when they shred down. That’s why he created Lipocide, to incinerate the fat while fueling the muscle. He says one of the keys to building the right formula was finding a way to curb the appetite without cutting it off completely. You want to eat less and have fewer cravings, but you still need to eat to fuel your muscle building processes.

Lipocide Ingredients

The Lipocide formula is caffeine based. It starts off with 200 mg of caffeine. That’s about 2 cups of coffee’s worth, so you will definitely get a kick from it, not to mention the focus and metabolism boosting benefits of caffeine.

The rest of the formula fits into a 528 mg proprietary blend that includes:

  • lipocide review 2Acetyl -L-Carnitine (1) which helps the body transport fat for use as cellular energy.
  • Acetyl L-Tyrosine which works with caffeine to improve focus.
  • Evodia Rutaecarpa Extract which is a fat burning metabolism booster.
  • N-Methyl Tyramine (2) which increases the release of norepinehrine for increased workout intensity.
  • Choline Bitartrate which supports a positive mood as well as fat burning.
  • 5-HTP which increases serotonin, melatonin, and tryptophan which balances the stimulants in the formula so you have a smooth, positive feeling rather than jitters and crash.
  • Velvet Bean Extract which can elevate your mood.
  • Citrus Aurantium Extract (3) which is an additional nervous system stimulant that’s often used as a replacement for ephedrine, now that it’s been banned.
  • Beta Phenylethylamine HCL which increases drive and motivation.
  • Capsicum Annum Extract which stimulates the central nervous system as well as fat burning.
  • Yohimbine HCL which is a central nervous system stimulants that may also burn fat.
  • Bioperine which enhances the bioavailability of the other ingredients in the formula, making them more efficient and therefore more effective.

That’s a lot of ingredients to pack into a 528mg blend. It’s unlikely that any of them are present in large enough quantities to have much of an effect.

How To Use Lipocide

The way you take stimulant fat burners is very important because you want to get the most out of the effects, but you don’t want to go overboard. With Lipocide, that means starting with one capsule in the morning on an empty stomach about half an hour before breakfast. You can take another capsule about 7 or 8 hours later if you feel like you need it, but you probably don’t want to take it within 4 or 5 hours of going to bed. You should take Lipocide for just 4 weeks before taking a 4 week break, presumably to prevent building up a tolerance.

Lipocide Warnings and Side Effects

The Lipocide label has a huge “warnings” section that includes the stipulation that it should only be used by healthy adults age 18-50. If you have any medical condition at all or take any medication, you should consult with your doctor before taking it. And they warn that you should not consume alcohol or ANY caffeine while taking Lipocide.

We found lots of customer feedback on Amazon.com, and truthfully it’s all over the place.

You’ll see comments like this:

“Very good product. It has the right caffeine amount for me, and it gives me lots of energy in the morning to exercise and even start my day. Love it love it. Will definitely buy again.”

and this:

“Exactly what I wanted!”

But you’ll also find people who either didn’t like the way it worked or the way it made them feel:

“Made me incredibly irritable and sick.”

and

“This did nothing for me. Lipo 6 worked so much better. Wish I hadn’t bought it.”

Where to Buy Lipocide

Lipocide is mainly available online, although you will find it sold in some gyms and nutrition stores around the country, not GNC or Walmart, more like Alpha Nutrition Warehouse and Armbrust Pro Gym. Online, you can order Lipocide through Amazon.com or Bodybuilding.com. At Bodybuilding, you’ll pay $39.95 for a one month supply, and at Amazon, the same bottle costs $32.49.

Our Lipocide Conclusion

Lipocide is heavy on the stimulants. That’s a plus for some people, and a negative for others. It really depends on your personal preference. If you like a stimulant based diet pill, you’ll probably like Lipocide. Just watch your caffeine intake and start slow to assess your tolerance. If you don’t like the way stimulants make you feel, you’d be better off just skipping the Lipocide in favor of something more mild. For all the hype about professional shredding and maintaining muscle and strength, I have to say I don’t really see that played out in the formula or the customer feedback.
