Six Pack Sleep Review 1One of the most underrated parts of a serious athlete’s routine is his or her sleep schedule. Without sufficient sleep, all your hard work and efforts are undermined, and you’re really not getting the full benefits you’re working for. The simple fact is that your muscles repair, strengthen, and grow while you’re asleep, and if you’re sleep isn’t optimal, your muscle growth isn’t either. It’s also true that without sufficient sleep, your efforts to lose fat are sabotaged. For both sides of the six pack coin, you need good sleep.

That’s why Mike Chang, the creator of Six Pack Shortcuts, introduced Six Pack Sleep. Now you might think (or hope) they’re trying to tell you that all you need to do now is take this supplement and sleep your way to six pack abs, but that’s not what they’re saying at all. (Too bad really). But by eating a clean diet, participating in a rigorous workout plan, taking Six Pack Sleep, and sleeping a full night’s quality sleep each night, you’ll get closer to your goal than you thought possible.

How Six Pack Sleep Works

The theory behind why Six Pack Sleep works is that it’s while you sleep that your body produces hormones like testosterone and HGH. Your body needs these hormones if you’re going to build muscle and it needs these hormones if you’re going to lose fat. But not only do these hormones only get produced and secreted when you sleep, they also need you to be in REM sleep, that deep restful sleep when all the magic happens.

Six Pack Sleep promises to train your body to fall asleep on command and stay in REM sleep for longer periods of time each night.

Six Pack Sleep Ingredients

Judging by the description, Six Pack Sleep sounds like some pretty powerful stuff, so we took a closer look at the formula and found it contains:

  • Six Pack Sleep Review 3GABA, or Gamma-Aminoutyric Acid, (1) which may promote a more restful sleep and support fat loss without the use of stimulants. It is also involved in the process that produces hormones that help build muscle and metabolize fat.
  • Valerian Root (2) which is used in lots of sleep aids as a calming substance. It’s thought to reduce stress levels and create a calm and quiet mood.
  • L-Glutamine which may support muscle growth and repair.
  • Zinc Magnesium Complex (3) which helps support the body’s testosterone production mechanisms while you sleep.

Instructions are to take 2 capsules shortly before going to bed. Again, it is stressed over and over by the the Six Pack team that Six Pack Sleep isn’t going to get you fit on its own, and that it needs to be used in conjunction with good lifestyle habits.

Six Pack Sleep Reviews

We were able to track down some customer reviews on Amazon.com. They were pretty pitiful for the most part. Here are some examples:

Samo says: “Piece of crap DOES NOT WORK.”

Gohawks says: “Gave me insomia. And since sleep is important to weight loss, I actually gained weight.”

And reading what Shaheed says brings up our next important point: “I used to like Mike Chang. Now it’s all about the money… can’t remember the last time I watched a video of him.. no his words are always a sales pitch… and this pill is no good.”

The Six Pack Sleep AutoShip Program

Hopefully you’re familiar with the free trial scams out there where a company promises you a free trial bottle only to charge you for it 14 days later and again every month from now until forever or you cancel, whichever comes first. Well, Six Pack Sleep uses a similar, though slightly different program to get you hooked up to ongoing payments.

They draw you in with talk of exclusivity – implying that supplies are so limited that they only have a certain amount they can sell to each area of the country. You need to put your personal information in before you can see if there’s any available in your area. (Total BS.) Then it just gets more confusing after that. What they tell you in the ordering section is that you’re signing up for a 30 day supply at a cost of $67 with a 60 day money back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact Mike any time within 60 days to request a refund. Sound straightforward enough, right? Then before you place your order, you need to indicate that you’ve read the terms and conditions. Here is states that by making this purchase, you agree to automatically purchase a new bottle in 30 days for $67 plus $14.95 shipping and handling), and every 30 days thereafter until you cancel your membership in their “Auto Reload Program.”

Six Pack Sleep Review 2So basically this is a lot like a free trial scam, except it doesn’t include the free trial part, only the Auto Reload part. And it’s doubly confusing because the money back guarantee lasts for 60 days, but the auto reload starts in 30 days, so it’s unclear how that gets handled if you just want your money back and don’t want to pay for anything, which is likely to be the case, if you believe the negative reviews.

Six Pack Sleep Pros

  • The formula is all natural.
  • There’s a money back guarantee (though there’s some confusion about it).

Six Pack Sleep Cons

  • The marketing is very hyped up and the billing situation is confusing to say the least.
  • The formula looks pretty weak.
  • There are lots of negative Six Pack Sleep reviews from customers who’ve used it.

Our Six Pack Sleep Conclusion

I wouldn’t bother with Six Plack Sleep if I were you. There’s nothing dangerous about it, but it doesn’t look like anything more than a very weak sleep aid, and the negative reviews support that view. Factor in the $67 plus shipping, and the automatic monthly reload plan, and there’s just no reason to even go there.
