The internet is littered with bodybuilding supplements – the vast majority of them either pre workouts or testosterone boosters. Testerect offers you the best of both worlds. It’s a pre workout AND a testosterone booster. You might think this is great, kill two birds with one stone type of thing. But there’s a more cynical way to look at it. It could be that the people behind Testerect want as many customers buying their product as possible, so they try to be all things to all people. Either way, Testerect is a workout supplement available online which means we are taking a look.
Benefits of Testerect
When you first enter the Testerect website, you are met with promises of pumped up workouts and explosive strength. The kinds of benefits you can expect are:
- Supercharged growth of lean muscle.
- Fat burning specifically for your abs and chest.
- Faster post workout recovery.
- Increased endurance.
- Boosted sex drive and energy.
They even go so far as to say that you can achieve incredible goals with “No Added Exercise, No Work!” Well, that ought to be our first clue that this stuff is not going to live up to its claims. Even the most hopeful and optimistic newbie knows it takes a ton of work to get a ripped body. But Testerect is making a bet on the fact that there are enough naive guys out there willing to take a chance with their money that there’s a revolutionary new product out there that does it all for you, and that somehow miraculously they’re so ahead of the game that it hasn’t been featured on the national news just yet.
Can you feel the sarcasm? I hope so, because our point here is to get at the truth of Testerect, not buy into the hype they’re selling. But while the hype is definitely a strike against them, we still kept digging to find out if Testerect offers any real benefit at all.
Testerect Ingredients
The key to the success of any supplement is the formula. So that’s where we turned out attention next. We had to go to third party sources (review sites) to find an ingredients list for Testerect, since they don’ t seem to be willing to share that information themselves. The list we found included:
- Tribulus Terrestris which is thought to boost natural testosterone by stimulating the release of luteinizing hormone. When LH is released, a signal is sent to the testes to produce and release an increase of testosterone.
- Tongkat Ali (1) which may increase free testosterone by decreasing the amount of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) in your system. SHBG binds to testosterone molecules, effectively taking them out of commission. With less SHBG, there’s more free testosterone available for use by the body.
- Fenugreek Seed which is thought to boost natural testosterone levels.
- Nettle Root which supports prostate health.
- Chrysin which burns fat.
- Black Pepper Extract which speeds up metabolism and helps other ingredients to be absorbed by the body more efficiently.
- Peruvian Ginseng(2) which increases energy.
- L-Citrulline which may increase the production of nitric oxide. NO is a vasodilator. It relaxes blood vessels, allowing more blood to flow through to your muscles during workouts, delivering more oxygen and nutrients.
An added note about the ingredients: A few of the third party website listed the above ingredients, but other sites gave an entirely different list. Because you can’t access the official Testerect website, it’s impossible to know for sure what’s actually in this stuff.
Testerect Reviews
Not surprisingly, we couldn’t find any independent Testerect reviews. The only feedback we could find came in the form of testimonials on the website. They include comments like the following:
From Judith: “ Testerect is exceedingly reasonable formula that issues them joy in their sexual demonstrations.” (What?)
and
From David: “After using Testerect, I can confirm that its effectual formula truly expands workout session and decreases weariness level.” (Who talks like that?)
The point is that these “reviews” are obviously fake and written by someone who’s not particularly fluent in English, yet trying to appear as though they are.
Where to Buy Testerect
Here’s where things really start to fall apart. A Google search for Testerect will lead you to several review websites. Each of them have a link to where you can purchase a “free” 14 day Testerect trial. The way it works is that you pay only the shipping cost, and they send you a month’s supply. If after 14 days you don’t want to pay for the bottle you received, you need to call and let them know. (You may also have to return the bottle.) If you don’t call, not only will you pay full price for the “free” bottle, but you’ll pay for them to send you a new bottle each month.
There are tons of online supplements sold in this scammy way. It might not be so scammy if they were upfront about it, but the real story is only explained in the fine print, and the truth is most guys miss it. When the charge shows up on their credit card 14 days after their initial “free trial” order, they’re legitimately confused because they had no idea what they were signing up for.
The case against Testerect gets even worse than that. If you even try to follow the free trial links, you’re taken to the order page for a completely different product – a Garcinia Cambogia product at this time. So even if you did want to enter into the free trial offer with Testerect, you couldn’t. In my opinion, that’s probably a good thing.
Our Testerect Conclusion
From the start, we didn’t like what we saw in Testerect. They promise strong, hard muscles with no effort on your part. Information on the formula is sketchy at best. They only sell it with one of those free trial scams. And the icing on the cake, you can’t even buy it that way any more. My guess is they pissed off the wrong people with their fine print, and they’ve moved on to selling something else. That’s okay, you can move on to buying something else too.
