Does Epiburn Pro Work?

USP Labs is famous for being the makers of OxyElite Pro, everybody’s favorite banned fat burner in the last decade. But OxyElite isn’t coming back. The FDA seems to ban every substance that works worth a damn, so the brand has moved on with its product Epiburn Pro, and the response is pretty positive. We decided to take a closer look – break down the potential benefits, the ingredients, and the customer feedback – and come up with a reasonable conclusion about whether or not it works.
Epiburn Pro Benefits
Most fat burning supplements promise the same benefits. You’ll eat less. You’ll have more energy, And you’ll burn more fat even when you’re not working out. The truth is, a good weight loss supplement can actually help you lose weight if it can deliver on those three promises. But it’s crucial to remember that nothing will get you in the beach season shape you want if you don’t work out and eat a sensible diet with a caloric deficit.
That said, Epiburn Pro makes the right promises:
- Intense thermogenic boost.
- Real appetite suppression.
- Improved performance at the gym.
- Increased energy.
- More balanced body composition.
- Improved sense of well being (important for maintaining the motivation needed to succeed.)
Epiburn Pro Ingredients
Our next step toward figuring out if Epiburn Pro is something you should be using is to break down the components of the formula. Knowing what’s in a supplement can go a long way toward knowing whether or not it can do what it sets out to do.
The Epiburn Pro formula consists of:
- Ashwadandha (1) (aka Withania Somnifera Root) Extract which is known to be an adaptagen that can help your body cope with stress. As a result, it not only acts as a way to fight anxiety and worry, it also increases your stamina during workouts as it bolsters your body in the fight against physical stressors that wear you down.
- Olive Oil Extract which acts as an antioxidant and detoxifier for the body while it boosts your immune system.
- Yohimbe (2) which is a central nervous system stimulant that also opens up your blood vessels for better blood flow, which means more oxygen and nutrients being distributed throughout your body for better health and lean muscle growth. Because it’s a stimulant, it also gives you energy and suppresses your appetite. Some people don’t respond well to Yohimbe. It can cause side effects like jitters, headache, and nausea. In some, especially those with blood pressure or heart problems, it could cause more serious side effects, such as a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
- Nelumbo Nucifera Seed Extract (3) which can prevent the digestion of fats and carbohydrates, so they’re eliminated as waste. It also helps put your body in the “fight or flight” state, so more fat and carbohydrates are used as energy than stored as fat.
- Caffeine which is used in most fat burning supplements because of it’s multi-pronged approach to weight loss. It helps suppress your appetite. It provides energy. It increases fat burning. And it even acts as a diuretic so you don’t build up water weight and look or feel bloated. Each Epiburn Pro pill has 100mg of caffeine, which is about as much (a little less) than a cup of coffee.
Epiburn Pro Before and After Reviews
There’s a good amount of feedback available from customers who’ve used Epiburn Pro and shared their results. For the most part, it’s seen as pretty effective, but not everyone feels the same way.
Scohara says: “What a fantastic product. Best of it’s kind I’ve used. Much improved energy, focus and an overall sense of well being.”
Another customer says: “I was a huge oxyelite pro fan and was very disappointed when they discontinued it! I bought this product in hopes that it was as effective and so far I LOVE IT!! I have been on epiburn pro for a week now and I love the energy it gives me without the jitters and it suppresses my appetite!”
But for every 3 or 4 glowing reviews like those, you’ll hear from someone who got no benefit whatsoever.
One customer says: “After a week taking it I don’t feel anything, my appetite is the same and the fat is still here.”
Another puts it this way: “First time using a fat burner and decided to try EpiBurn Pro because it was recommended by the sales staff. After one week of use I haven’t noticed any benefits and am totally disappointed.”
Where to Buy Epiburn Pro
You used to be able to find Epiburn Pro and all USP Labs products just about anywhere. But in the fall of 2015, USP Labs and its principals were indicted on charges of falsifying information on their labels and knowingly using man-made chemical substances in their formulas while claiming that they were all natural and plant-based. Since then, GNC, Bodybuilding.com, and several other retailers no longer carry their products. The USP Labs website also seems to have been taken down. But you can still find Epiburn Pro for sale online through a few holdout retailers. The 90-count bottle is selling for anywhere from $25 to $35 depending on where you choose to make your purchase.
Our Epiburn Pro Conclusion
We were liking Epiburn Pro as a decent fat burning supplement right up until the part about how their top brass got arrested for secretly putting things in their supplements and lying to their customers about it. They’ve even been implicated in several cases of people contracting liver disease to the point of requiring liver transplants.
At this point, I wouldn’t recommend using Epiburn Pro or anything else coming out of USP Labs, which is too bad because they were a well respected company making effective products for a lont time.
