Does Phen700 Work?

Phen700 calls itself a unique fat burner. That caught my eye because after a while, it seems like all weight loss supplements are pretty much the same. They burn fat, they suppress appetite, they boost metabolism, and they give you energy and motivation. And that’s just the good ones, the ones that work. So what is it about Phen700 that makes it call itself unique? We took a closer look to find out.
What Is Phen700?
When perusing through the website, one of the aspects of the uniqueness of Phen700 became clear very quickly. In the list of expected benefits, they claims you will see:
3-6 pounds of weight loss per week (on average)
That’s an awfully big expectation to set, and we don’t even know how they can make a promise like that. We all know that how much weight you lose is a function of the difference between how much energy (measured in calories) you take in versus how much energy you use. When you first start a weight loss program, it’s not uncommon to lose that much weight in a week, but those kinds of numbers are very difficult to sustain.
So if Phen700 can really help you lose 3-6 pounds per week for more than just the first week of your program, that would be a huge win. Let’s take a look at the formula to see if it’s even close to possible.
Phen700 Ingredients
Phen700 has been reformulated and the new list definitely packs a punch. They don’t specify how much of each ingredient is included, but here are all the components:
- Phenylethylamine (aka PEA) which is a stimulant that works to elevate mood and alertness. It can also improve athletic performance by increasing the flow of blood through your body.
- Synephrine (1)which came on the scene when Ephedrine got banned. It acts in a similar way, as a stimulant and appetite suppressant, but presumably without the side effects. This may not be true, however, as some studies have shown there is a possibility of side effects with Synephrine, especially when used in conjunction with caffeine.
- Caffeine which increases energy and alertness while it suppresses appetite and increases motivation. It has been noted that it may cause side effects when used in conjunction with Synephrine.
- Yohimbine Extract (2) which is also a stimulant that may help prevent the accumulation of fat cells.
- Inositol Niacinate may help improve cholesterol by lowering the bad and raising the good, while it relaxes blood vessels for better blood flow.
- Nettle Leaf Extract which may help prevent water retention and relieve painful joints.
The entire formula makes up a total of only 450 mg per capsule, so the dose of each individual ingredient can’t be very high. You can take this to mean a couple things. Firstly, it’s probably not that effective. If you’re only getting a total of 450 mg, you’re not getting clinical doses. Secondly, you probably won’t experience any side effects. Again, with doses this low, you probably won’t feel much of anything at all.
Phen700 Before and After Reviews
Since Phen700 is only sold through its official website, there are no independent reviews to be found online. The only feedback we saw comes from testimonials shown on that official website. The problem with these is that they’re often fake, embellished, or cherry picked. The website is there to promote the product. They’re not going to put negative testimony out for all to see.
With that said, here’s an example of the kind of feedback we found on the Phen700 website:
Cody says: “Great product guys, I used to use the old formula but this one kicks A**. It’s tough to get a good fat burner in the UK over the counter.”
And Sandra says: “I used to be a big fan of the EXA Stack back in the early millennium. I used to bodybuild back then but hadn’t touched a weight since 2005…”
Phen700 Side Effects
We talked a little about this up in the ingredients section of the review, but in this case, I think side effects deserves its own section.
Phen700 contains quite a few stimulant ingredients, and these tend to come with side effects when they’re used in a significant amount. Caffeine can make you jittery, Synephrine, when used with caffeine, can increase blood pressure and cause heart palpitations, and Yohimbe can make you feel dizzy, racy, and headachy, among other, more serious issues.
Like we mentioned above, however, the dosing is Phen700 is likely low enough that you won’t really have to deal much with side effects at all.
Where To Buy
Phen700 is sold through its official website. A single bottle should last a month and costs $64.99. You can save if you buy more than one bottle at a time. For instance, a 90 day supply will cost $189.99, but you’ll get a free bottle as well, which effectively makes the price $47.50 per bottle.
Phen700 does offer a money back guarantee, but it comes with so many strict rules and fees that it’s not even worth pursuing. It would seem they only offer it to be able to say that they do, while making as sure as they can that no one ever actually uses it.
Our Phen700 Conclusion
Looking at the ingredient list, you’d think Phen700 was a hard hitting weight loss pill. But on closer inspection, it just doesn’t contain high enough doses of ingredients to have much of an effect. If there were a more generous return policy, I might say go ahead and try it, but there isn’t. For those reasons, I recommend not bothering with Phen700 in the first place.
