What if you could get a prescription strength weight loss supplement without having to go to the doctor? We’re talking about 10-25 pounds in a month. That’s what PhenBlue claims. Prescription strength ingredients that work hard to suppress your appetite, burn fat, and pump you with the energy you need to work out hard. Combine it with a healthy diet and workout program, and those 10-25 are almost easy to drop.

Remember, though, these are claims, and they’re pretty bold. Whenever we see claims this bold, we have to push back on them, question, and test them. And that’s what we’re about to do here with PhenBlue. It may very well do what it claims, but we need convincing with real evidence, not just marketing claims.

 

What Does PhenBlue Do?

PhenBlue claims to support your weight loss efforts in all the ways you’d expect a diet pill to do. It:

• Reduces your appetite so you’re not always thinking about the next time you get to eat, and so when you do eat, it’s the right foods and proper portions.
• Ignites your metabolism into a fat burning incinerator.
• Supports toning and firming of problem areas like hips and thighs.
• Increases energy so you are motivated to make the most out of your workouts.

Clearly, this is what most weight loss supplements attempt to do. So what is it about PhenBlue that makes it different. This question seems even more relevant when you realize that Intechra Health, the company that makes PhenBlue, makes at least 4 other weight loss supplements in addition to PhenBlue. Each uses a slightly different formula and makes basically the same claims. If PhenBlue is so effective, why bother with offering the rest? It’s a question we couldn’t find the answer for.

 

PhenBlue Ingredients

The PhenBlue website helpfully lists the ingredients in the formula. They also provide some fairly detailed information on how most of the ingredients may be of benefit. The PhenBlue list is made up of:

• Caffeine Anhydrous which is a synthetic stimulant that can increase energy and metabolism while decreasing appetite. It’s been shown to increase weight loss in people who use it in conjunction with a diet and exercise plan when compared with people who don’t.
• 7-Keto DHEA (1) which promotes thermogenesis which is when your body temperature rises and you burn more fat and calories.
• 5-HTP from Griffonia Seed Extract (2) which is actually an amino acid that is manufactured by the body when it ingest tryptophan. Studies have shown that it reduces appetite in direct proportion to how much you take. It works by converting to serotonin within the brain, causing you to have a satiated feeling.
• EGCG from Green Tea Extract which is an antioxidant that can help repair cell damage as well as a proven fat burner and appetite suppressant.
• Forskolin (3) which comes from the Coleus Forskohlii plant and has been shown to help promote muscle growth. With an increase in lean muscle mass comes an increase in metabolism, and burning more calories means losing more weight.

How To Use PhenBlue

The instructions for use couldn’t be easier. You simply take 1 capsule twice a day about 30 minutes before meals. Make sure it’s your first two meals of the day because you don’t want to take it within 5 hours of going to bed. The caffeine will keep you up.

PhenBlue Side Effects and Warnings

While no particular side effects are mentioned, PhenBlue is not for women who may be pregnant of nursing, and it’s not for anyone under the age of 18.

PhenBlue Return Policy

Some supplements come with generous money back guarantees. Others don’t. PhenBlue is very emphatic about the fact that it does NOT offer money back guarantee. They basically say that they don’t expect their product to work for everyone, and if you’re one of the unlucky ones, well, that’s too bad. Their website has an entire page devoted to the fact that they will not return your money under any circumstances.

Your product was shipped to the wrong address – No refund.
Your product was seized at the border by customs – No refund.
You refuse delivery – No refund.
Your doctor recommends you don’t use PhenBlue – No refund.

With so many products offering 30, 60, even 90 day refunds even on empty bottles, this policy seems excessively harsh.

PhenBlue Pros

• The formula contains fat burners, appetite suppressants, and energy boosters, which makes it well-rounded and complete.
• The price is pretty consistent with other diet pills on the market.
• The ingredients are listed and their benefits explained on the website.

PhenBlue Cons

• There are several positive PhenBlue reviews on Amazon, but none are listed as “verified purchases”. This means that anybody could have logged in and written those reviews, whether or not they even bought the product. Posting fake reviews to Amazon is a pretty common practice so you need to be skeptical when it comes to believing what you read. The only reviews that don’t give 5 stars give 1 star.
• If PhenBlue is so great, why does the company make several similar weight loss pills?
• The return policy doesn’t instill a whole lot of faith in the company.

You can purchase PhenBlue through the official website or on Amazon. The website sells a single bottle for $43, and you can pay a smaller per bottle price if you buy in bulk.

Our PhenBlue Conclusion

Diet pills are notorious for promising big results and delivering much much less. PhenBlue seems to be no exception. The formula looks fine, but it’s nothing to get too excited about. It’ll probably even help you lose a little weight if you take it while running a clean diet and a solid exercise routine. But with the lack of real, believable reviews and the non-existent return policy, I would not recommend PhenBlue.
