Does 4 Guage Preworkout Work?

Note: This is a 4 Guage Preworkout Review. To order visit www.4gauge.com

4gauge supplement reviewThere are tons of preworkout supplements out there.  It can be really tough to discern between the scams, hype, and “brand ambassadors” aka salespeople.  We ran into 4 guage and were immediately impressed with the sophisticated packaging.  We review hundreds of preworkout supplements, and honestly we have not seen a cooler container since Instant Knockout, which is shaped like a fist and geared towards MMA fighters trying to cut weight.  But packaging is one thing… how has Four Gauge Pre-workout set itself apart from every other preworkout in this saturated supplement sector?  Well, you could put this preworkout supplement in a chinese food container and 4 Gauge Pre-workout would still have a the most unique preworkout compounds we have seen in awhile.

Listen, we are not here to sell you on preoworkout supplements.  They are not all created equal.  The most popular ones are not necessarily the best.  The key is to find the most effective preworkout with the most natural ingredients.  I think that 4 gauge preworkout does a pretty good job of that.

What Does 4 Guage Preworkout Do?

  • increase endurance and stamina
  • lift more
  • break your plateau
  • increased focus and concentration… also called ‘nootropic’ effect
  • hit your workout harder than a double-O buckshot

4 Gauge Preworkout Ingredients

What are ingredients in Four Gauge and what separate is from every other preworkout.  Unlike other supplements that just pack so much beta-alanine you felt like you stuck a fork in an electrical outlet, 4 gauge puts the correct amount of ingredients to provide short term bursts of energy and maintain enough stamina and endurance to complete any workout.  The ingredients seem to provide benefits for ANY workout such as Crossfit, HIIT, Spin, Cycling, TRX, Body Beast, P90X, CKO… pretty much any exercise acronym out there.

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #1 – L-CITRULLINE DI-MALATE (6000MG)

This is an amino acid extracted from watermelons.  Gram for gram, this is one of the most potent natural compounds that will boost your nitric oxide levels.

That dilates the blood vessels which increases blood to the muscles and gives you that “veiny” look. That translates to bigger pumps at the gym and increased performance right when you need it. (1)

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #2 – CREATINE MONOHYDRATE (1000MG)

Creatine Monohydrate has been around for almost 20 years since it premiered in your local supplements store.  We have come a long way from mixing gritty powder in grape juice.  This highly absorbable Creatine Monohydrate can increase strength approximately 20% when taken regularly.

Creatine Monohydrate increases ATP energy right when you need it most… that max rep with the heaviest weight.  While other supplements load up creatine up to 5000 or 6000 mg, it might be too much.  Your body excretes what is not used and 1000 mg is an optimal dosage for regular use.

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #3- ACETYL-L-CARNITINE (500MG)

It’s pretty hard not to find a supplement that has Acetyl-L-Carnitine.  Maybe because it is cheap to manufacture, maybe because it has too many benefits not to.

Either way, many workout supplements and male enhancement supplements  include Acetyl-L-Carnitine help fight fatigue, metabolize food into energy, and improve muscle recovery.

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #4 – COCONUT WATER POWDER (300MG)

This is one of the most exciting ingredients we have seen in a preworkout for two reasons.  We have not reviewed a preworkout other that Four Gauge that includes Coconut Water Powder, and every body knows that coconut water is awesome for fitness workouts as well as general health. As an added bonus, it is not some weird scientific compound. You can pronounce it and identify with it.

In many Caribbean islands, a fresh coconut and drinking the fluid inside is the poor mans pre, intra, and post-workout.  Firsthand I can tell you in hot environments, nothing is an natural and immediately replenishing as a fresh coconut.  However, unless you can climb a tree and grab one before your workout, 4 gauge preworkout supplement is you best option.

The electrolytes and nutrients in this compound is the reason why 4 gauge will help you sustain during your intense workout.

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #5 – RED BEET (300MG)

This is another ingredient that excites us.  Again, red beets are natural, you can identify and pronounce it, and it works.  Unfortunately, beets taste like dirt and you would have to eat pounds of it to get the same benefit as 4 gauge.

Red beetroot extract greatly increases the amount of plasma nitrate in the body while increasing the Nitric Oxide. Coupled with the citrulline malate, it dilates the blood vessels to increase your pump at the gym.  Think of it as Mother Nature’s Red Bull.  There are products like Super Beets that are based on this ingredient alone. (5)

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #6 –L-THEANINE (200MG)

Derived from tea leaves, L-Theanine energizes without draining, calms without draining, and motivates without the jittery side effects.  Amd 4 Gauge Preworkout contains the optimal dosage of 200 mg.

There is a pretty interesting study regarding mental alertness and the L-theanine.  The subjects of this study were supplemented with 50 mg over the period of the study.  The data indicates that L-theanine, at realistic dietary levels, has a significant effect on the general state of mental alertness or arousal. (2)

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #7- CAFFEINE ANHYDROUS [150MG]

Its pretty tough to find a preworkout without caffeine.  But fortunately 4 Gauge Preworkout does not load up their supplement with tons of it.  If you can tolerate coffee, you should be able to tolerate 4 Gauge Preworkout.

There is not denying the real benefits of caffeine on your workout.  Caffeine actually slows down the glycogen depletion in your muscles and promotes using fat as a fuel.

4 GAUGE INGREDIENT #8- RHODIOLA ROSEA (100MG)

Another herb with nootropic qualities, Rhodiola Rosea is an herb that helps you “stay in the zone”.   There isn’t a ton of clinical research out their on Rhodiola Rosea, but there are many different products that include it like Nootropics, male enhancement products, and testosterone boosters.

The other ingredients included in 4 Gauge are Dextrose (which is necessary for absorption of Creatine) , sweeteners like Erythritol, Natural Flavors and Xylitol, Monk Fruit Ext. (standardized to Mognosides), Silica, Swerve® (Erythritol, Oligosaccharides, Natural Flavors). (3) (4)

The Pros of 4 Gauge Preworkout

  • About as natural as you can get for a preworkout
  • Powder is easy to drink compared to swallowing pills
  • Reasonably priced
  • Ships to almost any country
  • Discounts for ordering multiple bottles
  • Really innovative packaging

The Cons of 4 Gauge Preworkout

  • You have to take 2 scoops instead of 1
  • Some people to not like sweeteners
  • Currently only one flavor is available, Fruit Blast
Is 4 Gauge Preworkout a Powder or Pill

4 Gauge Preworkout is a powder.  The recommended dose of 4 Gauge Preworkout is 2 scoops in a glass of water.

Unfortunately, the only flavor available is Fruit Blast. I doubt there will be any other flavors available anytime soon.

Where Can You Buy 4 Gauge Preworkout?

The ONLY place to get 4 Gauge preworkout is on their official website, www.4gauge.com.  Currently, no other third party sellers like Amazon or bodybuilding.com carry it.  Also, you will not find it in brick and mortar supplement stores like GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. But who actually goes to stores anymore?

One container of 4 Gauge preworkout costs $45 and there are 20 servings.  The best deal is buying 3 containers because they cut the cost of the third by 50%.  Thankfully, www.4gauge.com accepts paypal express to make your life easier.

Is there a Free Trial of 4 Gauge Preworkout

Thankfully, NO! This not not one of those “FREE” trial scams that sends you a supplement and bills you for it the next month… and every month after that.  There are way too many free trial scams that are scalping consumers like Hypertone Force.

Rest assured, there are no recurring chargers and the shipping is discreet.

Are There Any Side Effects with Four Gauge?

Not really. If you can tolerate a cup of coffee, you should be ok.  Of course, if you have blood pressure issues then you should consult with a doctor as you would with any supplements.  The risk of headaches is low if you take the recommended dose of 2 scoops.

The best time to take Four Gauge is 45 minutes before your workout.

Can you Stack 4 Gauge with a Fat burner or Testosterone Booster?

If you are working on you summer body, 4 Gauge stacks well with a fat burner like Instant Knockout.   If you are male trying to build lean muscle mass, the best way to harness your preworkout is to stack it with a testosterone booster like TestoFuel or TestRx.

Our Recommendation

Its tough to find a preworkout supplement with natural compounds you can pronounce and identify.  While its not explicitly organic, its seems to be safe for vegans and health conscious athletes.  The return policy is a little vague but they do take unused bottles back if you email them.  But it seems like you will actually be pretty pleased with the results.  To check out the 4gauge website to order, Click Here
