I’m sure you’ve heard about It – Garcinia Cambogia, the magic breakthrough we’ve all been waiting for. Word has it that this incredible fruit can make you lose weight without even dieting or exercising. But can it be true? Is there really something you can take to finally help you get that fit body you’ve been craving, even with no exercise or diets? Garcinia Life Plus says yes. But we’re a little skeptical.
How Garcinia Life Plus Works
Garcinia Life Plus is far from the only garcinia cambogia weight loss supplement out there, so we went searching for exactly what it is that sets this product apart from the rest. As always, we started with the promised benefits. According to the marketing materials put online by its manufacturer, Garcinia Life Plus provides the typical garcinia triple threat of benefits:
- It suppresses your appetite so you find yourself eating less without the need to count calories.
- It prevents glucose from being stored as fat by moving it instead through the metabolic process of producing energy.
- It stimulates the release of Serotonin in the brain. That’s the feel good natural chemical that stabilizes your mood. If you’re not in emotional turmoil, then you’re not emotionally eating. This can be a key factor for a lot of people trying to lose weight.
- It manages the stress hormone cortisol, which can throw your metabolism entirely out of whack.
Garcinia Life Plus Ingredients
The only ingredient we know for sure is in Garcinia Life Plus is Garcinia Cambogia, or more importantly, the HCA in garcinia cambogia. HCA, or Hydroxycitric Acid, is the magic compound found within the rind of the garcinia fruit. (1) Garcinia Life Plus claims to use the recommended concentration of 60% and the recommended dose of 800 mg. The claim that these are the recommended doses are a little misleading. There’s a lot of uncertainty about exactly how much HCA is the right amount. A few studies have been conducted, but nothing has been conclusively determined as of yet.
What So Special About Garcinia Life Plus?
It is very likely that weight loss is indeed helped by using garcinia cambogia, but the huge explosion of garcinia supplements onto the market can be confusing. The primary question is is there a notable difference between products. When researching Garcinia Life Plus, I stumbled upon the likely answer, and it’s a resounding “no”. Here’s what I found…
When you search online for the product called Garcinia Life Plus, you may be taken to a website advertising and/or selling it. But you’re just as likely to be sent to a website selling a different product called LoseWeight Garcinia, or still a different product, called Garcinia Cambogia XT. Even if you start out at a webpage talking about Garcinia Life Plus, you’re still likely to be sent to one of the different products when you attempt to click through to buy. So just how special can Garcinia Life Plus be, when its own distributors are basically interchanging it willy nilly with other supplements?
Garcinia Life Plus Free Trial Scam
Another key problem we found as we researched Garcinia Life Plus was the free trial offer. This is a very common tactic used by supplements offered online. They lure you in with big bold banners stating that you can “try it risk-free”, and they warn that you’d better act now or they’re sure to run out of the free bottle. You sign up for the free trial by paying just a small shipping fee. This is how they get your credit card number. Then in the fine print of the terms and conditions, they tell you how the “free trial” really works.
You have 14 days from the date you place your order to receive Garcinia Life Plus, try it, and decide whether or not you want to continue using it. If not, you have to call them within that 14 days and cancel your subscription. If you don’t call, you’ll be billed the full price of $79.95 (though they call that a discounted price) and you’ll be enrolled in their automatic monthly shipping program, meaning that you’ll be charged $79.95 plus shipping every month automatically for a new bottle. And this will continue on until you call and cancel.
Like I mentioned above, this is a very common set up for online supplements, and it makes for a lot of angry customers when they get caught off guard with these big monthly charges.

- There is some evidence that HCA can help you lose weight.
Garcinia Life Plus Cons
- There’s nothing to distinguish it from the rest of the pack.
- I haven’t been able to find any Garcinia Life Plus reviews from actual customers who’ve used it.
- It expensive, and the only way you can buy it is by signing up for their free trial offer, which turns into monthly payments.
- They don’t provide a complete ingredients list.
Our Garcinia Life Plus Conclusion
There may some value in using Garcinia Cambogia when you’re trying to lose weight. The problem is so many of the supplements that have it are overpriced and underwhelming in terms of disclosure and benefits. Garcinia Life Plus definitely falls into that category, which mean my advice is to just stay away from this one.
