It’s easy to dismiss garcinia as the latest bullshit trend in weight loss, but there are actual clinical studies backing up the fact that it does help people lose weight.

In fact, once you’ve done a search for garcinia cambogia, it’s tough to go online without this stuff popping up in your Twitter and Instagram feeds. The biggest draw of Natural Max Garcinia may be its most suspicious claim. They say you can lose weight with no diet or exercise required. (Of course, later on the webpage, if you look hard enough, you’ll find where it ways that a healthy diet and exercise program are recommended.) Of course, we all know the most healthy way to lose weight is with a sensible diet and exercise program that has us taking in fewer calories that we’re expending each day, and building lean muscle mass so our bodies become efficient fat burners themselves. But that doesn’t mean we can’t all use a little help at times. So is Natural Max Garcinia the help we’re looking for?
How Natural Max Garcinia Works
The active ingredient in Natural Max Garcinia comes from the rind of the garcinia cambogia fruit. More specifically, it’s called HCA (Hydroxycitric Acid). The HCA in Natural Max Garcinia is said to work in a number of ways to encourage weight loss:
- It acts as an appetite suppressant by making you feel fuller than you otherwise would. In fact, in Southeast Asia, where the garcinia cambogia fruit grows, they cook Tarmarine (another name for the fruit) into pre-meal soups as a weight loss tactic to keep people from overeating.
- It also prevents fat from being stored in your body by prevent fat cells from being made. With no place to go, fat cells from the food you eat are excreted as waste instead of stored as fat.
- Another benefit of Natural Max Garcinia is that it inhibits the release of the stress hormone, Cortisol. Cortisol throws your metabolism and the rest of your hormone balance out of whack and discombobulates your insulin production.
- In addition, it naturally decreases body fat.
- Finally, it increases the release of serotonin, so you are in a better mood and have an increased sense of overall well being. This helps prevent overeating for emotion-related causes like sadness, boredom, and depression.

We were not able to find a complete Natural Max Garcinia ingredient list. It could be that HCA is the only ingredient there is. The general recommendation is that a garcinia supplement contain concentrations of 50%-60% HCA (1) in a daily 1800 mg serving. Natural Max Garcinia boasts 60% HCA, but only 800 mg, so it may not meet the standards it need to be at.

Natural Max Garcinia is said to be available online. If you do a quick Google search, you’ll be directed to lots of “review” websites. These are really just advertisements that are meant to serve as links to where you can actually buy the stuff. When you click one of these links, you’re taken to the Natural Max Garcinia free trial offer page. This is where you can order a 30 day supply for just the price of shipping and handling. But if you look more closely, you’ll find the terms and conditions of the trial laid out for you. Once you place your order, you have 10-14 days before you have to decide whether or not you want to continue using Natural Max Garcinia. If so, do nothing and they’ll charge you full price for your “free” bottle. They’ll also automatically sign you up to receive a new bottle every month, also at full price. Most people don’t know what they’re signing up for when they order the free trial. They get blindsided 2 weeks later with a mysterious charge on their credit card. Then a month later they get another charge and another bottle in the mail. That’s usually when they start realizing what’s going on and they try to contact the company.
As far as I can tell, Natural Max Garcinia is not available in stores or through other online retailers like Amazon.com. And it may not even be available as a free trial offer at this point. Lately, when you try to link to the free trial, you get redirected to the free trial of a different garcinia cambogia supplement.
Who Makes Natural Max Garcinia??
You’ll also want to note that the company behind Natural Max Garcinia is not a supplement manufacturing company. They’re a marketing company called Creative Payment Solutions, out of McKinney, TX. Take this to heart. You don’t want to be buying a weight loss supplement from a company who’s in the financial services business.

Our Natural Max Garcinia Conclusion
There may be some promise in garcinia cambogia. There have been a few small studies that showed good results, but they’ve been very small and not necessarily up to clinical standards. Because of that, plenty of sharks swoop in looking to make their killing. Given the small dose of HCA and that fact that we’re talking about a financial services company, it seems pretty clear that Natural Max Garcinia is more concerned with profits and pounds, and you should just stay away.
