Plexum Slim Review

You may of heard it referred to as “The Pink Drink” for weight loss. It’s Plexus Slim and it’s part of a big line of weight loss and lifestyle products from the Plexus Company. Plexus is a multilevel marketing company, so in addition to talking about whether or not Plexus Slim itself actually works, we’ll also get into how that works and how it effects you and you if you decide to buy this stuff. But first we’ll talk about Plexus Slim and what it claims to do for you.

Benefits of Plexus Slim?

Plexus Slim is a pink powder you add to water, mix, and drink. It’s not a meal replacement. It doesn’t contain stimulants. But it helps you lose weight in a number of ways:

  • It helps you burn fat and not muscle.
  • It keeps blood sugar, lipids, and cholesterol at healthy levels.
  • It reduces cravings that lead to binge eating.
  • It helps maintain healthy blood pressure.

By mixing your dose with a glass of water and drinking it about 30 minutes before each meal, you’ll find yourself back on the weight loss track, apparently whether or not you stick to a special diet or exercise routine.

Plexus Slim Ingredients

The Plexus Slim formula starts with 200 mg of Chromium Polynicotinate, which is commonly used to regulate blood sugar and cholesterol. It may also improve the muscle to fat ratio of your body composition.

The rest of the formula is a proprietary blend, meaning they tell us what’s in it, but not how much. This is a pretty common practice in supplements. It’s helpful, but not as much as if they revealed the whole story. Having an ingredient doesn’t necessarily mean having enough to make a difference. In any case, here’s what’s in Plexus Slim’s proprietary blend:

  • Plexum Slim Review 4Green Coffee Bean Extract (1) which contains chlorogenic acid, which may improve the way your body handles blood sugar and metabolism. It can also have a vasodilation effect which can reduce blood pressure.
  • Garcinia Cambogia (2) which has been all the rage for a few years now, claiming to burn fat, prevent fat storage, reduce appetite, and improve mood. All important benefits to weight loss.
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid (3) which is an antioxidant that may help regulate blood sugar.

The proprietary blend is a total of 530 mg. The trouble with this is that the recommended dose of Garcinia Cambogia alone is 800-1000 mg. That means there’s no way you’re getting what is expected to be enough of each of the ingredients in the blend.

We should also note here that Plexus Slim does not contain stimulants beyond a very small amount of residual caffeine from the Green Coffee Bean extract. This is pretty rare for weight loss supplements, so if this is a restriction of yours, you may find Plexus Slim more attractive than someone would who doesn’t need to avoid stimulants.

Where to Purchase Plexus Slim

Plexus Slim is sold by Plexus Worldwide, which is a multilevel marketing company. Their system is based on a huge network of “ambassadors.” These ambassadors are people that use the products as well as sell them. Basically how it works is that people sign up to be not only customers, but sellers as well. Each customer, joins the network of the seller who sold them their product. Then whoever signs up to sell under that customer belongs to the network of the seller above them and the seller above them. And so on until it looks like a pyramid. You can usually spot these MLM schemes pretty easily because they sell you on selling just as much if not more than they sell you on the actual products. There may not be anything intrinsically wrong with the products, but you should always be skeptical of a product when the primary focus is on how it can make you (or someone else) make money.

Plexum Slim Review 2It’s true that some people make pretty spectacular money on these MLM schemes, but it’s usually a very few people that were there at the beginning and now have a network of thousands of people selling for them.

If you want to purchase Plexus Slim, you need to find an ambassador, and express your interest. You can find ambassadors pretty easily online. Just be prepared for the hard sell they’re about to give you, not only about the product but also about all the great products you can sell as a Plexus ambassador yourself. If you try to purchase it outright online, you can’t. They won’t even tell you the price unless you’re already working with an ambassador and you enter their information.

Plexus Slim is not available through online retailers like Amazon or in brick and mortar stores.

Plexus Slim Pros

  • The ingredients are all natural with almost no stimulant, which is a good thing if you need to watch your stimulant intake.
  • There’s a money back guarantee.

Plexus Slim Cons

  • You can only buy it through one of their MLM representatives.
  • There are just as many negative Plexus Slim reviews as there are positive. Some of the negative reviews simply say it does nothing. Others mention side effects like nausea and dizziness.
  • The focus of Plexus Slim and other Plexus products is making money for its ambassadors, not on helping you lose weight.
  • Apparently the price of Plexus Slim is top secret information that can only be shared when speaking directly with an ambassador. But from what I can tell, it’s expensive. I’ve heard, but have not confirmed, it’s in the neighborhood of $170 per month.

Our Plexus Slim Conclusion

I don’t recommend you bother with Plexus Slim. There’s no shortage of weight loss products on the market. Why would you want to get involved with one that’s expensive, that doesn’t seem to have a particularly special formula, and that makes you jump through hoops just to find out the price? Nope, Plexus Slim just isn’t worth the hassle.
