We may think pre workouts are the most common supplement taken by bodybuilders, but there’s something even more common. It’s protein. People of all shapes and sizes take protein. It’s natural. You get it from the food you eat. But whether you’re trying to lose weight, firm up, or pack on the muscle, you’ll want to make sure you’re getting enough. You don’t want to cook up a batch of chicken breasts after every workout, so protein shakes are a quick, convenient, portable way to ensure you’re getting the protein you need. For that reason, Shredz Protein is an integral part of the

We use the term “Shredz family” for a reason. Ever since they came on the scene a few years ago, Shredz has been building a loyal group of followers. They even call them “The Shredz Army.” They offer individual supplements and stacks, as well as diet and workout plans, and members of their army share their results with each other on social media. It’s basically a whey protein blend, combining Whey Isolate and Whey Concentrate. Isolate is more pure, but Concentrate has a better record with digestion. Shredz calls their protein for women a “thermogenic protein.” In addition to 16 grams of protein in the formula, they added two proprietary blends: one to help burn fat and one to help give you beautiful glowing skin.

 

• The Thermogenic Blend is made up of Green Tea Extract(1), Green Coffee Bean Extract, and Raspberry Ketones (2), which are all commonly found in fat burners for their thermogenic properties.
• The Skin Glow Blend contains mainly vitamins and antioxidants in the form of Pomegranate Extract (3), Mangosteen Extract, Goji Berry Extract, Blueberry Extract, Cranberry Extract, Apple Extract, and Bilberry Extract.

 

 

Shredz Protein for Women comes in Vanilla, Chocolate and Blueberry Muffin flavors. They all get just as high marks for taste and mixability as the Shredz Protein for men gets. So Shredz Protein for women has 2 points in its favor. It mixes well and tastes great, plus it has the added extras of fat burning and antioxidant protection for your skin.

Shredz products are easy to find. Of course, you can go through the Shredz website, where you’ll find all the choices for men and women. You can also order a Shredz stack that includes the protein in it. Shredz Protein is also sold on Amazon.com, and you can even pick them up at a local GNC store. Right now, all three options are selling the 2 lb tub for $40, though they indication the regular price as $55.

• There’s nothing that makes Shredz Protein (especially for men) any different than the hundreds of other available options.
• You may not want the sideshow of community and social media flurry that comes with Shredz products.
• Whey protein cannot be used if you have a milk allergy.
• Some people get cramps and boating using Shredz Protein.

 

Our Shredz Protein Conclusion

 

For the Shredz Protein for men, it’s a good tasting protein, plain and simple. The price is pretty good if you can get it for $40. But there’s nothing that really stands out about it beyond the taste. Shredz Protein for Women is a slightly different story. If you’re a woman using your protein to help lose weight, it’s a more clear choice because of the thermogenic blend. All in all, I wouldn’t go out of my way for Shredz Protein, but it may be worth using if you come across it at a good price.
