Shred Test 3 review 1

With so many bodybuilding supplements coming on the scene lately, it’s hard to keep them all straight. Just when I think I may have caught up and covered them all, a whole new crop pops up and it’s like starting all over again. Just the other day, Shred Test 3.0 showed up on my Instagram feed so I took some time to check it out.

Although the name would indicate that Shred Test 3.0 is a natural testosterone booster maybe combined with a fat burner, designed to help you get ripped and shredded, according to its official website, it’s actually a post workout recovery aid. By taking Shred Test 3.0 after your workout, you’ll be provided with the nutrients you need to recover, rebuild, and re-energize your muscles, so you’re ready to get back to the gym and kill it again the next day.

Shred Test 3.0 Benefits

The Shred Test 3.0 website, which is where you should be able to find all the information you need to make a smart decision about whether or not to use it, is pretty bare-bones and doesn’t go into a lot of detail. It really just talks about how you need a good post workout recovery product to help replenish your energy and restore lost nutrients if you want to really achieve the best possible results from your efforts.

Shred Test 3.0 Ingredients

Normally, what you find in post workout recovery supplements are BCAAs, or Branched Chain Amino Acids. These are specific the specific amino acids needed to synthesize the necessary proteins to build and repair damaged muscle tissue.

But Shred Test 3.0 doesn’t contain BCAA’s. Instead, it uses:

  • Tribulus Terrestris Extract (1) which may increase your body’s natural testosterone production through the pathway of increased Luteinizing Hormone. Tribulus signals to the pituitary gland that it should release an increased amount of LH. The LH then signal the testes to produce and release more testosterone.
  • Horny Goat Weed which is an herbal aphrodisiac that may also improve blood flow to the penis for better erections.
  • Fenugreek Extract (2) which may have a positive effect on testosterone levels and has been shown to improve sex drive and masculinity.

I have to admit, this list is a little strange for a post workout recovery supplement. It looks more like a testosterone booster, and a pretty weak one at that, especially if the ingredients are not present in high enough amounts, which we don’t know because the formula is proprietary.

Another thing to mention about Shred Test 3.0 is that these exact same benefits and ingredients are listed for another supplement, called Alpha Fuel 720, on a webpage that’s identical to the one for Shred Test 3.0, except the product names are different. Take a look:

Shred Test 3.0 Before and After Reviews

It’s always a good idea to check in with previous users to see how a supplement actually works, but we couldn’t find any customer feedback relating to Shred Test 3.0. There are a couple forum discussions on bodybuilding community websites, but they’re just guys asking if they should use it and other guys answering that it looks like useless junk. But there’s nothing from anyone who’s actually used it.

Where to Buy Shred Test 3.0

You can only purchase Shred Test 3.0 online through their official website, but there are two different ways you can go if you decide you want to give this stuff a try.

  1. There’s a free trial offer, but don’t be fooled by the name, it’s not really free. You pay just $4.95 up front and they send you a full 30-day supply. The moment you order, your 18 day trial period begins. If you don’t call and cancel before that trial period is up, you’ll be charged the full price of $94.60 for that “free” bottle, and they’ll start sending you a new bottle at that same full price every month until you cancel, which you can do by either calling or emailing their customer service department.
  2. If you don’t want to deal with the hassle and potential expense of the free trial, you can just buy it outright instead. In this case, a single bottle is $94.60, then the pricing gets weird from there. You can buy 2 bottles for $114.99, which is already a huge discount off the regular price, and you’ll also get a free bottle, which means you’ll get 3 bottles for $114.99 (less than $39 per bottle). You can save even more if you go with the Buy 3 Get 2 Free package for $139.99, leaving you with a $28 per bottle price on what starts out costing $94.60.

Clearly if you try Shred Test 3.0 and like it, you’ll want to use the straight up sale model to save some serious money.

shred test 3 review 2Shred Test 3.0 Pros

  • You can get it for really cheap if you order it the right way.
  • The ingredients are natural.

Shred Test 3.0 Cons

  • The “free” trial program and price are a total ripoff. Most customers have no idea they’re going to be hit with a $95 charge even once, let alone every month.
  • The cost is ridiculously high for what it is.
  • It calls itself a post workout supplement, but doesn’t really have anything in it to specifically help with post workout recovery.
  • The website is just a copy and paste job using the exact same text and images as a completely different product.

Our Shred Test 3.0 Conclusion

Shred Test 3.0 looks like it was slapped together pretty quick to make a quick buck for the company that sells it. I know online supplements are a hot market, and there are plenty of companies trying to get their piece of the pie, but come on guys, put a little effort into it. No, I would definitely not recommend Shred Test 3.0 as a post workout recovery pill.
