Does Arnold Iron Test Work?
Note: This is a review. Click here to visit the Arnold Iron Test website.
A couple years ago, MusclePharm teamed up with famed bodybuilder turned California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to form the Arnold Series of supplements. And since Arnold Schwarzenegger is arguably the most high profile bodybuilder in history, the industry was sure to take notice.
Today, we’re looking at one of the more popular products in the line, Arnold Iron Test. It’s a natural testosterone booster promising to improve your strength, power, endurance, and results in the gym. Let’s take a look at the formula, customer response, and anything else that can help us determine whether or not Arnold Iron Test is right for you.
Arnold Iron Test Benefits
The main marketing tag line is that Arnold Iron Test is designed to promote and support all things male within you. Given that it’s a testosterone booster, and testosterone is the “male hormone,” this makes sense. As men age, our bodies start producing less and less testosterone, which leads to all sorts of “age related decline” like increased fat, diminished muscle mass, decreased energy, and lowered libido. Arnold Iron Test combats all those symptoms and gets you back to killing it in the gym by boosting your body’s natural production of testosterone.
Arnold Iron Test Ingredients
The formula starts with healthy doses of Vitamin D and Zinc. Vitamin D is important for energy, your immune system, and overall health, while Zinc is necessary for the chemical reaction in your body that produces testosterone.
The rest of the formula is found within a 1350mg proprietary blend, the contents of which are:
- Arginine Nitrate to increase nitric oxide levels in you body which helps improve workouts by increasing blood flow throughout your body to your muscles. During workouts, the extra blood not only causes pumps, but it provides oxygen and nutrients for greater muscle energy and endurance.
- D-Aspartic Acid (1) which has been shown in tests to increase natural testosterone. The trouble is, the dose used in the tests was in excess of 3000 mg per day. Given that the proprietary blend as a whole contains 1350 mg and DAA is only a part of it, it’s clear that the DAA dose in Arnold Iron Test is not a clinically effective dose.
- Testofen (Fenugreek) which has been shown to improve testosterone levels in resistance trained athletes.
- Indole-3-Carbinol (2) which helps prevent the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. This is important because excess testosterone converts to estrogen, causing bloating and other unwanted side effects.
- Boron which has been connected to increased free testosterone levels.
These are some good solid ingredients, but I’m afraid the doses may simply be to low to have any real effect.
It is recommended that you take 2 pills twice per day, once in the morning and once at night. Arnold Iron Test can be taken either with or without food.
Arnold Iron Test Before and After Reviews
There’s lots of online feedback for Arnold Iron Test, and it seems to be mainly favorable. Here are a few examples from happy customers:
Erney says: “One of the best test boosters out today, and for the low price, it’s unbeatable. It gives stamina and my girlfriend has no complaints either.”
Another Amazon Customers says: “It took about two weeks but I’ve seen a diference in my body and my overall being. Very pleased.”
Benjamin says: “Took about a week to work. Take about three to four of these and stack with pre… well let’s just say you will feel like a beast in the gym.”
And these are all listed as verified purchases on Amazon.com, which makes them fairly credible.
There are a few negative comments as well, mainly indicating that for these guys, Arnold Iron Test just didn’t work:
One Amazon Customers says: “Been using it for about 3 weks now and really feel no change. I will continue to use the bottle up.”
Another says: “Didn’t feel anything different from it after one week of use and started getting heart burn.”
Again, though, the majority of feedback is positive.
Where to Buy Arnold Iron Test
There are several online sources for Arnold Iron Test including Amazon.com. The price has really come down since this stuff came out. The 90 cap bottle used to sell for about $90, but you can find it now for as little as $38.50. That’s a huge price drop, which tells us that the marketers overestimated what people were willing to pay for the Arnold Schwarzenegger name when this stuff first came out.
Arnold Iron Test Pros
- The ingredients are all natural and there’s a good list of potentially testosterone increasing components included.
- It’s affordable and easily obtainable.
- There are plenty of positive reviews from happy customers who’ve used it with success.
Arnold Iron Test Cons
- The ingredients are in a proprietary blend so we don’t know if they’re used at effective levels, though it doesn’t seem as though they are.
- Some reviewers claim it just didn’t work for them.
Our Arnold Iron Test Conclusion
Back when it cost $90, I wouldn’t have recommended it, but now that you can get it for less than half that price, Arnold Iron Test is worth checking out.
