Anabolic Freak Review 1

Anabolic Freak is a testosterone boosting supplement made by Pharma Freak. They make a whole line of workout supplements and stacks. Their company philosophy is that if they make the strongest supplements using clinically researched ingredients at clinically determined levels, they’ll get both your business and your loyalty, while helping you to reach your goals. But how does this compare to other Testosterone Boosters??

Benefits of Anabolic Freak

While it’s well known and recognized that higher testosterone levels lead to increased libido and improved libido, Anabolic Freak puts its focus on the muscle building benefits of increased testosterone levels.

With Anabolic Freak, your body will not only be producing more testosterone, but you’ll also be blocking both cortisol and estrogen – hormones that can sabotage your hard work in the gym. With the T boost and the cortisol and estrogen block, Anabolic Freak clears the way for massive gains in strength and lean muscle. You’ll also have more energy, better sleep and mood, and an easier time cutting and taking off fat.

Anabolic Freak Review 2Anabolic Freak Ingredients

The primary ingredient in the Anabolic Freak profile is D-Aspartic Acid, or DAA. (1) What it is is an amino acid that has been proven to increase testosterone. It works in two ways. First it stimulates the pituitary gland to release more Luteinizing Hormone, which in turn stimulates the testes to produce more testosterone. Second, it works directly to stimulate the testes to release more testosterone.

Anabolic Freak uses a clinical dose of 3.12 grams of DAA. This dose was proven to increase testosterone levels by 64% in just 12 days. It’s very common for companies to use clinically tested ingredients in their formulas, but what they usually do is just add a small amount, much less than what was used in the clinical environment. They do this so they can say their product contains the ingredient, but don’t have to pay the high price it costs to get the necessary amount. Their hope is that people just won’t know the difference. Customers will see that the ingredient was tested, and that will be enough to sell the product. But the dose is so low it’s ineffective. Anabolic Freak actually goes the extra mile and uses a clinical dose when it comes to DAA.

The rest of the Anabolic Freak formula includes:

  • Vitamins D, B6, B12, and Folic Acid, all of which work in conjunction with the DAA to increase natural testosterone production.
  • Rhodiola Rosea (2) which modulates the body’s response to stress by regulating cortisol levels and not letting them get too high. This allows you to work out longer under stressfull (workout) conditions.
  • Resveratrol which works to promote the proper estrogen balance by inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to estrogen.

How To Use Anabolic Freak

It’s recommended that you take 2 Anabolic Freak capsules at a time – one dose in the morning and one either later in the afternoon or before your workout. To cycle it correctly, take it for 12 consecutive days, take a 3 day break, then start the cycle over again.

Anabolic Freak vs Test Freak

Anabolic Freak Review 3

Pharma Freak makes two different testosterone boosters, and they recommend that you stack them together. I’ve been asked why they do this, so I checked it out. The reason is that the two products approach testosterone boosting from 2 different angle. Anabolic Freak uses the DAA pathway of pituitary gland, luteinizing hormone, testes. Test Freak uses Saponins which work through the hypothalmus.

Personally, I’m not convinced you need both, and I think your extra money is better spent on a different category of supplement, like a pre workout formula.

Anabolic Freak Before and After Reviews

There’s lots of online feedback available from customers who’ve used Anabolic Freak, and it’s all over the map. You’ll find plenty of guys who thought it gave them great results. You’ll find just as many who thought it did nothing. And then there’s a whole bunch of guys talking about side effects.

On the positive side, there are posters like this guy:

“Phenomenal Test Booster! One of the best I’ve ever taken… Strong gains.”

On the negative side, this guy is pretty typical:

“After using for a few weeks, can’t perceive any effect.. I won’t say this product is junk, just that it did nothing for me.”

And this guy summed up the sides saying:

“This product works but the side effects are definitely there. Jitteriness and anxiety was too much at 4 pills a day. I backed off to 2 pills, sometimes 3, and it helped. Didn’t quite see the gains with the lower dose though.”

Where to Buy Anabolic Freak

Anabolic Freak is available both online and in stores. The Pharma Freak website has a store locator function where you can find local stores that carry their products. Or you can just order it online through Bodybuilding.com, or Amazon.com. Bodybuilding’s got the month long cycle for $56.09. Amazon.com has it for slightly less.

Anabolic Freak Pros

  • It uses a clinical dose of D-Aspartic Acid.
  • Reviews show some guys are getting good results from it.

Anabolic Freak Cons

  • It’s pretty expensive, and they recommend you stack it with an additional testosterone booster. That works out to a lot of money on test boosters.
  • Some users complain of side effects, like anxiety, jitters, and upset stomach.

Our Anabolic Freak Conclusion

Anabolic Freak is not a bad testosterone booster, but I don’t think it lives up to its own advertising. Not to mention that there shouldn’t be a need to stack it with an additional testoterone product just to get the results you should be getting with just one.
