With so many natural testosterone boosters on the market today, a product needs to have an added hook to get customers interested. Anotest by MuscleTech takes care of that by declaring that its 4-In-1 action gives you results you’ve not seen elsewhere.
Benefits of Anotest
By using Anotest, you’ll see:
- Increased overall testosterone levels.
- Increased free testosterone levels.
- Increased concentration of Androgen receptors.
- Reduced Serum Cortisol.
According to Muscletech, this 4 pronged approach is the only way you’re going to reach your testosterone goals. Of course any testosterone booster will aim to increase overall testosterone, and most of the good ones will also focus on an increase in free testosterone. But Anotest goes further than most by acting on androgen receptors and reducing cortisol levels.
Anotest Ingredients
The highlighted ingredients in Anotest are:
- D-Aspartic Acid. (1) This is the total testosterone booster. It’s been proven to work at the clinical dose of 3.12 grams, and that’s what Anotest uses. Tests have shown a 40% increase in total testosterone using DAA.
- Boron (2) which is shown in tests to increase free testosterone while decreasing Estriadol levels. The Anotest formula uses the clinically studied dose of 200mg.
- L-Carnitine (3) which increases the concentration of androgen receptors which is where you want to bind free testosterone to make it available for use. Anotest uses 2000mg of L-Carnitine.
- BCAAs and Glutamine for reducing serum cortisol. Cortisol is the stress hormone, and it’s presence is counterproductive for both muscle building and weight loss. The BCAA/Glutamine combination represents 5300mg of the Anotest formula.
How to Use Anotest
Anotest comes in 2 flavors – Fruit Punch and Blue Raspberry. The recommended dose is 1 or 2 scoops mixed with water and taken in the morning. 1 scoop will only give you half of the clinical doses we discusses above, so if you want the full effect, you’ll need to take the full 2 scoops. It’s recommended that you not exceed 2 scoops in a 24 hour period.
Anotest Reviews
One particular concern comes up over and over when you look at the online reviews for Anotest. You may like the taste, you may even like the results, but you won’t like this:
Zak says: “Took this stuff and **** my brains out within 5 minutes of taking it. Taste is pretty good I’ll review again later after taking it for a while if i ever get off the toilet.”
And he’s not the only one. This seems to be a recurring theme:
Anonymous says: “It moves my stomach and makes me feel bloated.”
Another says: “I recently purchased this as a natural test booster but what I got was colon blow.”
M says: “Got a boost that could be felt in the gym.but also got extreme gastro intestinal pain and lots of valuable time with my bathroom.”
There’s also some good feedback. Lots of guys say Anotest gives them the boost they’re looking for in the gym:
One user says: “Strength is off the hook on week 1 with 2 scoops. Im 40yrs old and have taken my share of boosters and this is just as good as Tbomb2 from mhp, but instead of taking 6 gigantic pills a day you can just get it in powder form.”
Another says: “This product helped get me in gear again. Took it first thing each morning before breakfast. After a couple weeks noticed higher energy levels and more vigor. Definitely helped me get back into the game so to speak.”
Where to Buy Anotest
It used to be that you could buy Anotest almost anywhere. Bodybuilding.com had it. Amazon.com had it. And the MuscleTech website would lead to several retailers you could pick it up from. At this point, they all seem to be out of stock.
I don’t have information that Anotest has been discontinued, but that’s my best guess. MuscleTech offers lots of workout supplements. I doubt they have any need or desire to be in the laxative business. So it looks like you’re going to have to take a pass on this one.

- It focused on 4 aspects of improving your hormone profile.
- It doesn’t require PCT.
- It used clinical doses of the active ingredients.
Anotest Cons
- It’s unavailable at this time and probably discontinued.
- It caused diarrhea.
Our Anotest Conclusion
All in all it’s probably a good thing they took Anotest off the market. I’m sure MuscleTech will rework the formula and do what they can to keep the benefits while losing the side effects. In the meantime, there are plenty of other options to choose from if you want help getting the most out of your workouts.
