What is Andro Plus

Note: This is a review. Click Here to visit the Andro Plus Website.

Androplus Review 1Andro Plus is a testosterone cream made by a company of the same name that promises to “help men upgrade their lives through managing their hormones.” It’s always been true that the male body makes less testosterone as it ages, but due to changing environmental factors, it’s never been more true than it is now. These days, the simple fact is that the environment we live in is not conducive to maintaining adequate hormone levels as we age. Toxins in the air, increased estrogens in the environment and the foods we eat, and other unhealthy behaviors that have become commonplace in today’s world. It all adds up to a lot of things, none of them good. It means less energy, more fat, less lean muscle mass, less drive, and diminished sexual performance. If you’ve got low testosterone levels, you’ve got lots of reasons to try to change that. Andro Plus is a testosterone cream that claims to raise your body’s testosterone levels, thereby alleviating the symptoms we discussed.  When we first came across Androgel, we were initially impressed.  However, after doing more research, Andro Plus started looking less and less appealing.

Testosterone On The Decline

Studies have shown that today’s men have less testosterone than our ancestors did. (1)  Consider that when you reach the age of 60, chances are that you’ll have less testosterone than your grandfather did when he was 60. That sucks, but it’s true. And that’s precisely why more and more men are investigating testosterone replacement therapy.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is what doctors will prescribe when a man or woman has sufficiently low levels of their corresponding sex hormone. In women, it’s common to undergo estrogen replacement when they enter menopause. For men, the problem is called Andropause, and it’s defining characteristic is low testosterone levels. You don’t hear as much about Andropause as you do about menopause, and there’s a good reason for that. For women, menopause is comes on fairly quickly, while for men, andropause is a long slow process that’s hardly noticeable until one day when you have far less testosterone you need. Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), like Andro Plus, is when you replace some of your lost testosterone with synthetic testosterone in the form of a pill, a cream, or an injection. Once you start TRT, you may be able to go off it, or you may need to keep using it as your body may shut down its natural processes even further.

Andro Plus Ingredients

The only active ingredient in Andro Plus is a simple formulation of testosterone at 5%. (2) The rest of the formula is involved in creating the cream delivery format that absorbs best into your skin without leaving a sticky residue.

Andro Plus Side Effects

According to the Andro Plus website, there are only a few side effects, and they’re relatively mild. They include a thickening of the blood, water retention, and BPH (Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy). The water retention is caused by an increase in estrogen (which happens when testosterone levels are increased due to the conversion of testosteandro plus gelrone into estrogen), and can be controlled by taking an aromatase inhibitor.

Other reviews we read on Andro Plus included nasty withdrawal symptoms.  That included loss of libido, fatigue, and general moodiness.

Andro Plus Benefits

The benefits of using Andro Plus include all the benefits of increased testosterone, like less fat gain, more lean muscle mass, more energy, less fatigue, better mood, and better sex. On top of that, Andro Plus has an advantage over some of its competing products in that it goes on easier, it isn’t sticky, and it absorbs more quickly. This is important because you don’t want your Andro Plus rubbing off on your wife or kids.

Andro Plus Drawbacks

Any hormone replacement therapy comes with the risks inherent in messing with your body’s natural state of affairs. There’s a good chance that once you start taking Andro Plus, your natural testosterone producing mechanisms will shut down even further, making it more necessary that you use it, probably forever. And while Andro Plus may be less expensive than some options, it’s not cheap.

  • The website is very vague on what country they are located in
  • The ingredient profile also vague
  • Actual reviews are no well written
  • Andro Plus does not discuss the very real side effect of shutting down your body’s own testosterone production

Where to Buy Andro Plus

You can order Andro Plus Testosterone Cream through the company website. A single 50 ml tube costs $99, but there are discounts if you buy multiple tubes at a time. For instance, 3 tubes cost $249 and 5 tubes yield a big discount at $299. You can not find Andro Plus Gel in GNC, Vitamin Shop or Bodybuilding.com.

Our Andro Plus Recommendation

For most guys Andro Plus, and testosterone therapy in general, isn’t necessary. A natural testosterone boosting supplement that uses herbs and other natural ingredients to help boost your body’s own natural testosterone boosting mechanisms is as far as you need to go to feel the effects of increased testosterone levels. Once you start getting into the actual TRT provided by Andro Plus, you’ll run into a lot of things you may not have bargained for. Your body’s own process will shut down further. Even if it wasn’t that bad to begin with, you’ll make it worse. You’ll have to be careful that your wife and children don’t touch your application spot. And it’s an expensive process that you’ll need to continue long into the future, maybe forever.

  • I went to the Andro plus website to order product yesterday. They took the money from Paypal but I have not received a confirmation of my order after repeatedly emailing them. Is this a scam?

It looks AndroPlus is a scam. After placing order no more contact…be careful.

    • I do not think Andro Plus is a reputable product. I guess you might get your Andro Plus order, but they seem sketchy to say the least. It seems like the company is in a third world country.
